the eeka peeka pukka po song started in the 70's, a disabled kid who had issues speaking, instead of taking the piss the talbot faithful sang along with him and it became the club anthem, hence why EPPP is now on merch etc

One of the best scenes I’ve seen from a Scottish team! Good to see lads following there local team! Class atmosphere well done! From a Aldershot town fan
auchinleck is a village that used to rely on the barony colliery, when it shut men had no work so beechwood became work, when everyone was building decking in ayrshire tons of concrete slabs became terracing saving landfill costs, the stand came fro hamilton's old ground, the seats came from bristol city. the only new thing at the ground is the lights
Great video as always. My old man used to play for Auchinleck many moons ago. He said there would be up to 5000 at games when they would play the likes of Pollock in the 50s/60s.
Was at bankies game watching us beat clyde.... had a talbot - bankies double on.. 180 quid from a tenner!!!! Absolutley spot on.. a lot of massive clubs (compared to the scottish league 1 and 2) in the juniors and some really good players.. Bureaucracy, red tape, history and heritage have kept the a lot of the clubs apart through the years.. Loving the videos and great content!! keep up the good work!! all the best.
EEKA PEEKA PAKKA PO! The famous! The most successful junior club in the world. You should’ve been there on our first outing to Tynecastle, we silenced the home support the entire 90 mins, you’d have thought we had won. That penalty save from Leishman was incredible! Pretty sure Hearts offered him a trial but he turned it down. 🖤💛
Brilliant video. It's great you're filming these. Also helps Scottish Cup is considered a big deal. Still has that magic and not devalued. Love Scottish Cup fixtures.
Brilliant video, I was at the Ayr game a couple of years ago in the Auchinleck end. My mate, the Talbot left back at the time got me a ticket then his team killed my Ayr United's best season in a generation. Didn't know whether to laugh of cry 🤦🏻♂️🤣 For real though, that club's support is incredible. I went to the Hearts away game (the first one) and they packed the full away stand. If they get in league 2 and above they'll easy pull in 1000 people every home game.
Magic, follow your channel and was well stoked I got to watch the Bot fae the stands from Oz. What a result and what a team, does the village and surrounding area proud. Thanks for sharing it mate.
I was at Killie away to Queens Park and when Talbot scored everyone was celebrating their goal. It’s good to see the 2nd biggest team in Ayrshire so well 😉
This is class man. Love to see these scenes, especially at a junior game, and beating a side from the Championship. Fair play! Keep up the great work Sam! ✊🏼⚽️😀
i support a team in the same league as talbot and i've recently been following to a more lengthy degree the west of scotland prem and it shows how non league scots football is and how hard it is to get out off. so proud of clyde and talbot will defo be going to the next talbot game
Great vid Sam. Don't think it was so much of a giant killing though. Despite being in the 6th tear, Talbot have been playing championship standard football for years. Honestly I kind of half expected them to win yesterday, or get a draw at least.
No shock to any Accies fan. A few of us won decent money on Saturday. Mind, we didn't expect our manager to disrespect Talbot and throw in a youngster for his debut with the regular left back fit and on the bench!
Fantastic atmosphere at the Talbot ground as a neutral I am. glad that I went to the game and now they have drawn Heart of Midlothian at home again in the next round of the cup . 👍 great video.
Wow Sam, what a match experience you had!!! Glad you chose to go to this match. Seeing the fans having a great time is something I want to experience. Is this your first time witnessing a giant killing?

For well over 100 years the teams in the many leagues of the Scottish Junior Football Association have brought excitement to the small towns and villages in Scotland. The feeling in many local derbies were just like this Auchinleck match. However the Junior Association was separate from the Scottish Football Association and the clubs were treated as "feeder clubs" to the SFA clubs so could look no further than their local leagues. However over the past few years many of the Junior clubs have left the Junior Association and joined the expanded SFA pyramid into the East Of Scotland Football League, which was struggling with a diminishing number of clubs but now has 4 divisions and then the newly formed West of Scotland Football League, which has 5 divisions. We now have 3 leagues in the East, West and South of Scotland, whose Premier League champions can compete for promotion via the SFA pyramid to the Lowland league, the champions of which will compete with the Highland League champions for the right to play-off with the bottom club of the SPFL Division 2 for promotion to the senior levels. Following on from Kelty Hearts being among the first to grasp the opportunity to break away and gain great success in winning promotion to the SPFL Division 2 (and currently leading) it seems that Auchinleck and other former Junior clubs will break into the upper levels in Scotland in the near future.
You should have seen the storm in Aberdeen it was mental 78km per hour winds im pretty sure and its snowing aswell and its like 1 degrees also nice vid :)
You certainly captured the atmosphere (and some smoke in your eyes!) behind that goal, right place, right time !
