Love your content! I happen to be visiting Scotland from the USA right now. I didn’t bring my clubs, but wish I had. We are currently staying in Dornoch: so many beautiful golf courses here!
Love the variety of the channel, Tracey D. Course looks great - love the discount code idea - I would certainly travel to play the courses, even better, do so with friends.
I'll vote for Tracy this time. Thank you for sharing this lovely place. We are so blessed to have this game and you really bring out the best in all of it!
Hi. I LOVE your channel! Back in the 90s there was a similar show here in the US, but I can't remember the name of it. Inspired me to walk and carry my bag until 2023 when I had to realize I can no longer walk fast enough on a course where I'm surrounded by carts. I now take a cart but it is your swing that helps me most. When I.use a short backswing with plenty of rotation I get the distance and accuracy I need! Thank you for helping my golf game!
You found a hidden gem of a course there Andy, it has a great variety of holes which most golfer's like to have when playing a golf course. I had a favourite course like that in Scotland. Edzell GC mainly for its tranquility and the condition of its fairways and greens. Thanks for a very enjoyable video And .. Tracy for the best pics this week.
I vote for Tracy's pics! I would like to see all your shots. I really enjoy this series. I do love a quiet, beautiful course. It just takes you away from our hectic world. Thanks
Tracy D for me this time. My favourite course is the Queens at Gleneagles. I have been fortnately to play it many times. It is just majestic in views, design, atmosphere, and in the test it gives. Lots of shorter holes that give you the risk/reward buzz, but its really the ambience of it that I love. It's my happy place. Having said that, I was lucky enough to play Arbroath last week and that is right at the top of my Links loves at the moment. Always yes for discounts too, Andy!
Music, video quality, fascinating courses - all great motives for watching your videos. Then, you're striking the ball so well that the image creates a desire to play the courses you show.
Excellent video of a great looking course. You asked for our "perfect clubs". Mine is Shiskine Golf Club in Blackwaterfoot on the west coast of the Isle of Arran, a 12-hole links course where I used to play golf on holiday as a kid - wonderful times and some great holes where you really have to think about your shots. Also fantastic views of the cliffs, beaches and Mull of Kintyre in the background. And Tracy d for the photo.
Played Forres so many times id say you were above average that day. Great parkland course that often gets forgotten with so many great links couraes nearby. Glad you enjoyed. Its a great value and very welcoming place. Tracey d to
The perfect golf club must have a great location, be well maintained with challenging greens and friendly members who welcome disabled people to play this wonderful game. Great to see you playing so well again. Nice course in super condition. Andy C for me this week.
Photos are certainly Tracy’s!! Perfect golf club ‘GANTON’ because of the history, the heritage and the immense bunkers! In terms of the perfect club for me personally my own ‘Arcot Hall’ as it’s a Braid classic with some of the best people I’ve ever met on the golf course which makes it a privilege to play an olde skool track with great people 👏👏
the layout of the course and its level of maintenance, the quietness on and around the course, the quality of the practice facilities (especially after months and months of rain last autm/winter and even spring up until April), the amount of friendliness of the members and staff, the distance to the club as well as its full membership fee, the 19th hole, ... it's really a combination of all of those things that (can) make a perfect golfclub Andy ... you can have a great course but if it takes you an hour to get there every time, only to end up with people that aren't too sociable, it can get really annoying really quick as well ...
Andy keeps up the great work . Thus time Tracy gets the nod for the picture of the week. Regards to the discount codes. I think that would really be a good idea. This course looks immense.
What a lovely course you found Andy, and how lucky were you with the weather?! You played really well too. No wonder you loved it! I think it would be great for your subscribers to be offered a discount on green fees at the courses you feature/showcase on your channel. Photos were all top quality so I will sit in the fence this week! 😉
Andy D - I like not seeing every shot with talking. You can go to every other channel and see that. I like fewer shots with the music. You have a perfect mix right now. It is very calming and enjoyable
Hi, Andy. I just noticed you cracked 100k subscribers! Congratulations! I am not sure what # subscriber I was, but I know I have been enjoying all that you do for a while now. Keep going! Please and thank you.
Andy D. Finally, you won one 😂 As for my perfect club, thats an easy one for me. Burnaby Golf Club in Vancouver, Canada. It's where i learnt to play with my Dad in the 80's, every Sunday morning. Would love to go back and play one day.
Great video thank you. Yes please to the discount code. I’m inspired weekly to go and play these courses. Might not happen but to know there is an incentive to go always helps.
The perfect golf club from my memory comes from just having a great time and scoring well, that I can walk away from it and say that was good. Two courses I really enjoyed and thought were as close to perfect. Nassau Bahamas - Paradise Island course, and Phuket Thailand Blue Canyon course
Played Forres as a junior 30+ years ago in the North Schools comp. Great course then and looks great now. I remember the 1st being a long par 3 though?
Hi Andy, recently discovered you through your video detailing how you actually only need 7 clubs; absolutely loved it, as I was carrying the exact same clubs in my bag haha (apart from the wedge, have a 56, but it might be too lofty for me as i feel like im missing something between the P and S, so might opt for a 52 soon). Wanted to ask you, what (golf?) shoes are you wearing in your recent videos?
Just shows how forgiving that driver is Tracy on the photos again this week One of my favourite course the links west runton ( Norfolk ) small little 9 hole different tees not long very qwerky makes you think and some cracking views , cracking food and staff ect
I would like to know the yardages and what club you are hitting. I'm 58 and would be nice to know the comparison. I love how you keep your left arm straight throughout the swing. Is it something you are working on cause I am?
What a cracking golf course, obvious question where are all the golfers???? As you mentioned the green fees for a round are very reasonable for a premium golf course.
@@TheAverageGolfer let me know when and you can be my guest. There’s a lot of good courses around Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. I’m no good but enjoy a day out 👍
For me the perfect club is Sweetwater CC in Barnwell South Carolina. It’s a shorter course but the layout is superb and it is always in great condition. It is definitely off the beaten track as well. Tracy d for photo of the week.
Andy great looking course. Did you drivr Seven hours then play or did you play the next day. There is a course in the state of Virginia that fits my eye
No need for all the shots mate. I think most folk watch for the general vibe and whole package. Tracy does an amazing job with the camera. Stick to the winning formula!
Not particularly interested in discounts on green fees, but a list of "of the beaten track" videos with some form of rating and accommodation recommendations on a web site would be of more interest.
@@TheAverageGolfer Is your swing speed over 95 mph? Stiff flex? I am swinging at 80-85. I am thinking of a regular flex or even a senior flex-Steelflex Shaft! Your advice, please.
I enjoy seeing all the shots in a round but if that creates a long video with unremarkable shots, then shorten the video to characteristic or significant shots.

For the photos, Tracy wins every time. The lady has a great talent for framing an image with objects in the foreground and producing a depth of field.

It’s a James Braid too - had a great holiday round here- good mix of holes elevations and good greens - not been but Elgin is next on my moray list

Costa Adje golf course Tenerife is my favourite course , used to play every year with my late dad wonderful memories
Great video felt like I was there with you. Played quality well done 👏🏻👏🏻
Fox Hollow GC outside on Tampa, FL. I go down there every winter to get out of the dark and cold weather and to play with one of my best friends!

Amazing course and an excellent video to showcase it. Agreed, the entire region is underrated.

I joined Blankney ten miles south of Lincoln because it’s a great challenging course that’s kept in great condition.

Tracy by a tiny margin ! well done Andy !
This is an awesome course!
You will have to come do a tour of Midwest courses in the US, and do some content. Reasonable prices in the Midwest

Ok I will see if we can make that idea work
Tracy c this week. I like a mix of strokes without and some with narrative, like you did here. Wish I could play the course.

Love Formby Dave
As your up that neck of the woods Andy, you need to visit Boat of Garten, fantastic of the beaten track course
Beautiful golf course!!!!!!
It looks to be a lovely course. You were certainly getting off the tee well this round.
Yes if only more often!
What a cracking golf course, obvious question where are all the golfers???? As you mentioned the green fees for a round are very reasonable for a premium golf course.
I love Forres great golf course at as you said a great price. My home course is Ellon good in the summer months but nothing like Forres.

Nice looking Course. Dang, I have to work today!
Another great video love the course
Cheers Karl a real surprise how good it was
Great video again, the break has helped your game! Andy D for the photo.
haha maybe
I wish I could do this Andy. A lot of travel but you have to enjoy it. Come to Ross on wye golf club next summer you won’t be disappointed 👍

What brand and style is the putter? The new balanced PXG putter?
I will agree with you Andy as Forres is my home club and love the place 😊

Great idea to get a discount code
Stunning!
It really was Alan
Hi Andy, great video yet again, looks lovely up there, Tracy C for me, cheers D
Lovely and good choice
Try the boat of garten golf course, it was awesome when I played it a few years ago
Head along to Strathpeffer if you are in the Highlands. Incredible views, and you might even see an Adder or two 🐍
I’m back home now but will make a note
Opening hole has the highest tee to green elevation change in Scotland (apparently).
If a golf course can be characterized as such, the course seems rather cozy.
Looks absolutely stunning and you played it well. Tracy d for me.
Lovely course Andy
Hey Andy I’m gaming callaway mini as well playing very good hitting a lot more fairways shooting lower scores
That’s what they do, much more consistent
Personally I like the longer video's of all 18 holes, that's mainly because I watch far more on youtube than T.V. (which is mostly crap!! ). Cheers.
Tracy C. Where’s the index at these days Andy?
Evening Andy glad to see you back, lovely course and Tracy c
Thanks Stephen

good idea
What shaft are you playing? Looks like a Steelfiber? Regular or Senior flex? PXG IRONS?
It’s steelfiber 95g stiff
Aren’t you swinging the Mizuno fairway woods?
@@TheAverageGolfer Is your swing speed over 95 mph? Stiff flex? I am swinging at 80-85. I am thinking of a regular flex or even a senior flex-Steelflex Shaft! Your advice, please.
Swing speed is only a part of the equation, my iron swing is around 80mph, weight of shaft is also key not just flex
I am purchasing the GEN 7 irons! They are 5-7 in XPs and 8-Gap in Players with a Steelfiner shaft in regular flex. Thank you!
You're a lot better than the average golfer!!
All the same issues! 😂🤣👍
Why is there nobody else playing the course?
The green fees in the UK are ridiculously high. I am used to paying $20 Australian at one of the busiest courses in NSW.
AUD $20 🧐 where ?? Not in Sydney 😮
Woy woy. $40 for visitors
Tracy B for me 🎉
Good choice
Tracy d this week 😊
Nice choice
