@@scheduledadventures so true. First time I went was mid-June and still a lot of snow in the forest from the south entrance. Even a big pile of snow in the West Thumb parking lot. The worst is getting tied up in road construction which really can tie up traffic significantly.
Thank you. If you have room to bring bikes it might be a good idea, it will make some of the “hikes” shorter and if your kids are like mine they can get a little grumpy on long hikes, and there are quite a few bike trails in Yellowstone including at Old Faithful as well as a bike path in the Grand Tetons that we haven’t done yet but would love to do one day.
Beautiful trails! It looks like you had a great time exploring the park. 😊
Fairy Falls is a great hike. Perfect for beginners. Great video!
Thank you. Fairy Falls is a great hike, we actually skipped it our first two visits and that was definitely a mistake.
Looks like you were there in September. Very nice time to visit Yellowstone. Get some autumnal colors, less crowded, and even occasional snow.
Yes we love going in September, actually fall is the only time we have ever gone because we are so afraid of the summer crowds that we hear about.

Great info! Now I'm considering hauling our bikes to Yellowstone. I think my kids would love to bike!

Have been there three times, I call it the Horse's Tail.
