From a Canadian. What is a real pain is when the stupid lower half of shaft freezes with ice because water gets inside. Last time I priced the column at Sheehan’s it was 790$ Cdn, I got a good used from Metro truck wreckers in Hamilton.
I wasn't, ,,a knocking sound could be just about any component in the steering system .....have a friend turn the steering wheel back and forth while you look for loose or worn parts
😂 14min about how to remove covers-really😅, I would say 2min was enough to explain main things, and start removing it-useless 14min of youtube memory...
Just one note,for the hood release unhook wires outside (under the hood) first then just unhook under steering . Simple and easy
