Some great looking RRR, I have RRR001-04 so far. That 017 is one sweet looking Barlow. That Nomad is pretty cool as well.

On board with the barlow, easy out and clasper. I would have to put the hippo toe in there and it's a toss up for the last spot. The common stock, swell center whittler, razor, lockstock... the new tortoise whittler or patriarch.
I've got some collection building to do!

I've gotten 4 so far had to return 2 for terrible blade play and got the rhino and Hippo they are great, I need to try the barlow!

RRR are definitely a big bang for the buck. Cool takes on traditionals and fit & finish are great. Can’t wait to see the Swish, it looks like it will make the Clasper look small. Thank for the look.

I haven’t picked up any of the reserve series but have gotten quite a few of the standard Rough Ryders and for under $20 it’s hard to beat the quality. My favorites are the Cotton Samplers

I really like the classic lines of the Nomad, and the Panthera is also interesting. Still haven't pulled the trigger on a RRR knife, though. One of these days, I'm sure.

I gave your number 4 away. No regrets. I'm sure the person who got it will appreciate it more than me. It was nice but not for me. I've thought about the Clasper and the Panthera, Both are very appealing. Excellent choice on the Barlow. I'm shocked, Shocked I tell you that the Bar Back was not in your top five! LOL! I also noticed not a single multi-bladed RRR made it in your top five! Maybe that was my mistake -- buying multi-bladed Rough Ryder Reserve knives.
Again, great run down, and you gave me food for thought on what RRR I should reconsider. Thanks much for the run down.
Pretty sure the swap to the bomb was with RRR019. RRR001-RRR018 was the initial production batch However, they are now producing first run knives with new covers and a bomb shield (see RRR009BM, RRR003BM)

All good Tobias! If its not for you...it just isnt. I really like single bladed patterns although the dual bladed Copperhead has joined my favorites list because the second blade is pretty low profile!
The Bar Back just isnt my speed...lol!

@@BigRedEDC , I might be correct but if I'm wrong it is because the art work was wrong on the SMKW web site. I think the first 18 knives began production when Andy was there and the Arrowhead was one of Andy's ideas. I know it received from flack early on as it looked similar to the Northwoods Arrowhead (according to some folks). I'm guessing the switch to the bomb shield was possibly made after he left partly to address the Northwoods issue. Maybe they'll bring back the Road Kill Rodent...

All good knives, the barlow and the clasp knife are the most apealing to me. I mean have you ever seen a more nicer spearpoint blade on a barlow? The clasper is very great for that harder use tasks. Thank you JB and Merry Christmas friend.

While we could carry Lock Backs in the UK they were my favourites, personally I would prefer a Barlow a bit bigger than Rough Ryder make them, to see the Spear point blade they come up with for the RRR was very pleasing though.

RR’s are good for the money, i just recently grabbed a couple of the Apta Series and they do have some flaws but for the money i can’t complain. I carry at least one 3-4 times a week.

This is my first time hearing about the RRR brand. They seem like solid budget slip joints. I think I prefer the Sway out of all of them. I love Wharncliffe blade shapes for utility purposes.

Yeah....some people like and some dont.
They are trying something new, so I expect some misses occasionally. It's an open interpretation of what makes a "modern traditional", which is an oxymoron. New old school 🏫, military intelligence, experienced virgin, etc... My favorite RRR so far is the Easy out Wharncliffe.
