Also a fun fact, if you walk under the tentacle trap, it'll pick you up but drop you back down after it realizes you're not a zombie. Happened to me earlier.
Honestly I thought Cold War Round based zombies was a low point in the mode's history. I agreed with what you said in your podcast, New Cod mechanics work better in open world zombies (MWZ, Outbreak) than they do in Round based. I think MWZ is the perfect evolution of the series, I wish we could combine both approaches by having the DA's in MWZ be unique areas like the Terminus map. I've been playing round based since BO1 and I think it's reached its limit of creativity. It's exhausted all its potential. With endless BO3 custom maps in existence, BO6 really has to do something special to make RB Zombies feel new again and it doesn't look like it so far.
I like the idea of combining those two modes. I agree that mwz is the next step. I'm already bored with zombies in BO6. On a second day ☹️. I played with the jet gun after assembling it, got to round 35 after over two hours, and that's it. I don't feel like I need to do more or do it again
@@Andrewcwazeewabbit Round based has been around since 2008. When it launched people were excited about all the potential it had with further development. Well it’s 16 years later and the mode has progressed a lot. They’ve thrown in everything they could imagine. Between the 50+ official maps and the 100s of custom maps, round based ideas have been thoroughly explored. With modern day CoD, weapon progression has to work across the modes which means Round Based can’t design the mode around the feeling of survival anymore. It has to also serve as a weapon level grinding mode. That inevitably makes it worse than round based maps that aren’t designed with that restriction. I hoped Treyarch spent these last 4 years grappling with situation but doesn’t look like they did. They just threw out more Cold War maps with slightly better atmosphere. Feels stale and outdated.
@@Andrewcwazeewabbit i was already bored in BO2 and when OUTBREAK came out i was like WOOOO that s what i need and ill never play round base mode again 😁
@@jay-dee-0077 agreed. I feel like round based is like drawing the same outline with different pens. You upgrade your perks and weapons but ultimately you repeat the same pattern over and over again. In mwz, at least you can choose what to do or which path you follow. And you were happy to unlock the schematics. In BO6 i feel like there is no reward. (to be fair, in Outbreak, you also didn't receive anything but at least it wasn't so mind numbingly same gameplay) I'll probably come back to MWZ soon 😁
I could not play fps games for many years esp. Cod series despite how i like shooting, because of after playing short period of time was making unbeable headache and dizziness anyway. Turn back playing 2months ago and mw3 zombies was really good for me there was many many things to do. I am as a newbie could not get the point of rounds of zombies. I know this was first concept of zombies but you got really bright idea and it is working flawlessly why you choose the turn back. This game is not an upgraded ver. of mw3. I will be stick with the mwz.
They spawn so darn many zombies on the way to the chopper so you often die before you even reach it and if you do make it you gotta high alot of zombies in a certain time or you lose. so doing that at lvl 30 or higher most likely you just die. They also aint no penalty for dying so who cares haha =)
@TobbeManNBOT thats the only thing i like about round based. There's no penalty like mwz where you have strived so many games of no crashing and get to 300 containment, and then die or crash and it resets you back to 75

@gamingwithmystic8269 I heard that once it picks u up, u have to shoot it once and it drops u without downing u
@@ixi22ixi gotcha, now I know, my friend was also there and was shooting at zombies that was behind me and may have shot it by accident then.
I'm really enjoying it so far. My only concern is the rate at which you earn points and ammo seems to be an issue without mule kick.

Nice video, i love your energy
Real happy a new zombies is out and doughnuts is in my life again. My COD waddles.❤❤❤
Its going to take me awhile to get uesd to this . Mwz was first zombie game i played and i love mwz this looks completely different
Haha yeah it's a completely different thing. I hope you enjoy it though!
Me too. I am having difficulty in setting up myself. But it's good
It will absolutely take you a while to get used to it! It's a very different type of zombie game! But well worth it!
You should definitely try exploring outside of MWZ zombies. MWZ is easily the worst iteration of zombies ever created

The entire map is surrounded by water, could you be more specific
