So I just got a laptop, it automatically updated to the windows 11 and it took off my pin. I can no longer get in because I couldn't remember the password. How can I get in my laptop? I tried all kinds of resets and still says the same thing
If it's an hp laptop (and maybe just any windows computer) you can reset your pin by on startup clicking forgot pin then you sign into your microsoft account and then you can reset it
No pin no password stays at login screen. None of the options you showed are helpful for that.

Remove your external USB drive if any attached. Then try again continuously 2times. It worked for me!
