Mr. Ed. I purchased the CD collection also. Still sealed. Couldn’t bring myself to open it! Sony did an incredible job in Album reproductions. I wonder if they ever plan on doing the same with the Single releases? RCA/Sony/BMG sometimes get it right. They did this time. Thanks for posting this, Mr. Ed. You are the best!!!!

I am behind i had no idea this set was out. Whoever pack my set they just threw the albums/cds in the box and none of them were in order and the pictures were all over the place and i was missing the picture from the album ( Your Favorite) Harum Scarum. So i watched your video today and got everything in order. Thanks Ed.
I love long black limousine. I currently have and had 4 from elvis in Memphis albums. 2 are gone 1 is a double CD and I got the original record on its way in the mail.
Coverted 57 of the 60 cds to mp3. Placed all 57 cds, minus about 5 songs in the 70s. Because of space on cdr. But placed all onto 6 CDs. Have a 6 disc CD player in my car...still on CD #1 at track 124. Nice
I finally treated myself with this box set for Christmas! Had to pay more than the original retail, but I just had to have it. There was a typo in the book that I noticed and couldn't believe it slipped through. On the Moody Blue release year...they have 1976. Get it right Sony!! It's 1977.
I have several old Elvis vinyl LPs, a few well worn originals like the Roustabout soundtrack, the original releases of the first two Golden Records and Pot Luck I inherited from my aunt, but this video prompted me to order the huge CD box set, since I think it was a bargain for $263. A few of them will have a few songs not on my vinyl LPs, since I have the Pickwick versions of those albums.
It really is a great set and I’m glad I was able to assist you in your decision of buying one. I think all Elvis fans should own this set. Take care. Ed

I'm glad you made this video, and it was a very engaging half hour well spent. Looks like they did a great job on the authenticity of the reproductions. But at the same time it made me feel bad to realize that some of my vinyl LPs are actually missing some inner bonus photos that I never knew were supposed to be in there!
That was just a variation of Kissin' Cousins but the original had the photo down in the corner. Nice collection, I was excited to see the inserts in there. WOW Now I really need to have this, lol. Thanks Ed
I have no issue with them not including all the Camdens, as the songs are elsewhere. However I wish the Sun Sessions was included, even though those songs appear on other disc as well, it's such a historical album and it would just be nice for this set to have a sole Sun collection. Also, even though Elvis in Concert was released posthumously, it was intended to be during his lifetime and there are some great performances on it, especially the single version of My Way.
I've been looking at this set a lot recently trying to decide whether or not to get it. After seeing your video it is looking more like I need to get it. Looks very well done, especially with all the little inserts and the big book. That sheet of hype stickers is a cool touch as well. I haven't been huge into Elvis but I do like a lot of his stuff. I have the complete gospel masters set and the Elvis 75 Good Rockin' Tonight set. I still may just get this anyway. Thanks for the video!
@@coreyjohnston4673 It was a 60th anniversary set so contained 60 CD's. I suppose they could have included the 3 missing ones and omitted the bonus CD's. I might have preferred that instead.
Its a great collection, and well done to the people who thought of releasing them like that, they really know how to get your addictive bug going, and back to cd's that look like vinyl, clever sods.
I'm starting to just get into vinyl no Elvis yet just 45 rpms this would be an awesome addition to my collection. Keep up the great work! TCB 🌩️I hope I'm entered now.
Great collection, it's a pity all the Camden albums weren't included, some of those missing albums had really cool sleeves, as did The "welcome to my World" album. But still a pretty cool collection.
I agree it woulda been nice to include it but all the sun songs are in the set spread out on their original RCA albums, Elvis Presley, Elvis, For LP Fans Only and A Date With Elvis

There are extra tracks on some of the cds.. Think that Separate Ways / Always On My Mind should be on the Fool album.. Great set Ed.. I have no Elvis CDs. I am a huge fan too. This one looks great as a first timer. So many of them 😂 . I just want to be able to put on my iPhone. I only have a Mac with no CD player to add to my music library 😞

The singles such as Burning Love and Suspicious Minds etc etc are raked in to their respective albums. Fool has the tracks you mentioned take a closer look
... example Harum Scarum, Spinout, 68 TV Special (blue sticker), Aloha (missing other stickers that came with it), Good Times (My Boy sticker missing). Some countries had their own stickers, Germany, Canada, UK, etc...
The Flaming Star didn't have a insert in the album thats probably why it didn't come with one in the box, The associates at Singer actually would have handed you the photo when you bought it for a limited time.
Burning Love is on the FOOL Album with Separate Ways, and A Matter Of Time. SM and KR are one of the 1969 CD’s FEIM, or From Memphis to Vegas. I forget which one.
Hey ed I went through my same set as I noticed I didn't get the bonus insert from the christmas album. Also don't understand why they never included burning love. Separate way and the talking album. And the Camden christmas album. I'm sure there's a few more but the set is great
Hi Ed, I’ve watched your video a couple of times & have thouroughly enjoyed it! I recently purchased this box on eBay from China & can’t help but feel that it might be a bootleg. The discs were not in order, the inserts were randomly placed in the wrong albums, Christmas album booklet not attached, a lot of the artwork images look a little fuzzy - almost borderline colour photocopied. It came sealed with the sticker & booklet & all but looks a little on the cheapish side! Are there any discrepancies with some of the albums in this set that you have?
It would have been nice if the book had a glossary of every song and what album it can be found on, some songs are difficult to locate. Also, in my opinion some of the Legacy Editions of certain albums are better than the ones here (i.e. On Stage, Live in Memphis) because they have added tracks which really sound great (Baby what you want me do, Steam roller blues, etc.)
I don’t believe you will be sorry. I believe you will be very happy having all his master recordings in one boxset. Plus the live concert albums AND the 3 bonus CD’s with alternate takes and other material...👍✌️

I have this collection, too. It's terrific. Sony also put out a similar collection of Johnny Cash's Columbia albums. That's also worth getting.

New to elvis music, i just bought some Elvis music first time ever yesterday. This looks like a nice collection.

There's are few 'hype stickers' missing that were on the original Elvis LP's when they came out that should be on this box set.
