some animals same here. Not breaking out to be fair but not happy going out to fields, it's slow, looking in direction of shed to see can they go in, weather I suppose, like tis October and they want silage inside 😬

Fair play to ya Gavin, love pulling the auld ragwort,very satisfying.
I hope the calves bounce back alright, you can know it's been tough on you. How many bales have you in total for the winter now?
Great to see a trailer load of turf in the shed behind you too.
Will you bring the ragwort into the bog and let it regrow there?

Have 320 now so should be enough looks like the new shed won't be up this side of Christmas so some cattle will have to be outwintered for abit so I should be fine for silage.. just brought them into the forest let them rot there

U should try minerals licks they r good to clean them up takes the brown look off their hair and I find they thrive better

How are you finding the new quad Gavin and would u ever consider a bigger tractor than the wee Ursus

Great the quad is so so handy.. would love maybe something around 120hp 4wd but funds just aren't there yet for that so the ursus will have to do for a while yet 😅
