Main roster wise...exactly...but NxT is a completely different entity...IMO, NxT is the best thing going as far as "main stream" wrestling....AEW seems to keep having major botches and there's a lot of hokey set up spot moves that make it seem more like Cirque de Soleil a lot of the time...that annoys the hell out of me.

Y'all hated John Cena and Roman Reigns for having a small moveset but are quiet when Omega pulls out 10 V triggers in one match it's a cool move sure but using it that much loses its impact. I believe AEW's best talent are former WWE guys that are able to shine more in a smaller pool and that's not to say AEW is bad but their a young company that needs some fine tuning if they think they will topple the juggernaut that WWE is. This isn't meant to be negative toward AEW I'm just pointing out flaws I see I'm a Wrestling fan and have been almost my whole life.

When compared to Vince McMahon, Tony Khan is incredibly accessible to fans on social media. He regularly checks fan feedback on Twitter, and will sometimes even take their suggestions and make alterations to his show. When a fan suggested moving graphics on Twitter, Tony responded to the tweet and delivered them a few days later. Vince McMahon doing such a thing is virtually unheard of.

Blood is completely unnecessary. Couple prominent examples lookat WCW during the Monday Night Wars. When they were leading in the ratings they had a very strict no blood policy. But to me the better example is Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes. Ric Flair shed his fair share of blood, but he was known more for great matches then for the crimson mask, saving the bleeding for long running feuds and the payoff match against a much hated opponent. Dusty got to the point where he couldn't wrestle a match without blading right up to the point where he got himself fired as both a booker and a wrestler from WCW for violating their no blading policy because his popularity was going down and he thought a little blood would get the audience behind him more. As a result Flair dominated the title picture beating Dusty far more times then Dusty beat him, while Dusty had a handful of short title reigns dropping the belt as quickly as he got it.

Once he accomplished that he started tightening the purse strings letting guys go and because the top-tier guys had long-term contracts and could not be released it was the lower-tier guys who ended up getting cut because he wouldn't give them pay raises and cannot guarantee them a higher place on the card because guys like Hogan already had it in their contracts that they would either be in the main event or wouldn't be there at all. And what creativity? AEW's got guys playing face one week, heel the next week. Nonsensical face and heel turns and wrestlers attacking each other out of nowhere to jump start a feud rather then even attempting to start them organically.
Rollins storyline dragged out because they were taking him off TV so he could spent time with is wife as she gives birth. They didn't want to give him a new angle. Now that he's gone the Mysterio clan with Murphy has moved on to other things. As for Aleister Black he's been on Raw/Smackdown for barely over a year what did you expect them to do with him? Shoot him straight to the world's title? They have nothing for him because they started an angle with him and Seth Rollins but Black had to take time off to recover from an injury. He tried to come back too soon they put him in a program with Kevin Owens a legit main eventer, but they realized it was too soon and that his eye was too injured to risk it so they took him off TV again to give him time to heal. How the hell are they supposed to use a guy if he's not healthy enough to wrestle?

These wrestlers don't have a "new opportunity" they might be making more money, but they're doing the same schtick they were doing when they were in WWE, and as the ratings stagnate that money is going to dry up as AEW tries to find the guy that will cause ratings to spike rather then building their federation around the talented wrestlers they promised us when they first opened the federation, which is why even with Sting on the roster they have failed to achieve the ratings they were getting their first couple of weeks in business.
WWE wrestlers have opportunities to record music, appear on TV shows, and do movies. I'll take that over the opportunity to be used to put over one of the owners of the federation any day.

    They work with other promotions

According to daniel brayan ,. Vince doesn't let them cross the limits
, I'm training for pro wrestling, blood can transmit diseases , long time health issues , blood thing is disgusting in AEW.
2nd , they don't allow their stars to work in any other promotion , coz WWE is itself a brand
People don't say pro wrestling , they say WWE .
If they allow Roman reigns to work in impact , then what will happen to the interesting storylines in WWE
WWE is cutting their roster is a good thing for fans , sad for wrestlers .
Wrestlers like karrion cross , Keith lee, are 33 ,35 yrs in age they can just fight for 10 to11 yrs . & WWE has to spend yrs on building them , that's why WWE is releasing their stars .

I'd say out of all them, Big Swole is the only one I take seriously because she doesn't HAVE a gimmick; she's not a DENTIST, or a SAMURAI, or an ALIEN, or a "MAGIC GIRL", she's just BIG SWOLE.
