I don’t blame him. I mean like his first encounter with anyone in this game is the spirit of an owl (possibly a librarian) who wants to kill him so badly he chases after him and what seems to be an endless hallway, tries to drop bells on his head tried to blow him up with dynamite, and shock him with electricity, and also tries to turn him into soup and get him eaten by crocodiles. I bet that traumatized him so much to the point where he scared for anyone to touch him ever again.

The cat pirates are so cute, I'd want to cuddle with them.
The best part about a female lead developer is that the male characters have character instead of "hmm yes, am man, I like skateboards and beef" like any other game. Literally all the background cats have personality and unique appearances, you can't get this quality anywhere else, I'm absurdly excited for this family friendly game.

I like to think Scrimshaw and the cats haves the song prepared all the time in case someone wants to go to the cave, just to make them not want to, and thus not die
I love how all of the pirate cats have distinct personalities, despite being (as far as i can tell) inconsequential background characters:
- I like how the middle one is surprised about the dancing at first, and gets used to it just before being thrown away.
- The Two that Team Rocketed / Smash Bros'd / whatever, is funny
- The one in bottom left is just vibing to the music.
- The Top left one seems to be acting tougher or more intense then the others.
- The Middle left one seems joyful and happy
- The Middle right one is tired or chill
- The Top right one seems to be nervous of the knife he's holding, probably tied to his missing eye and ear pieces
- And the bottom right one seems relatively inexperienced at the song as he losses pace at a part.
In fact, every single character seen thus far has so much personality, from main characters, to background, to ones only seen in storyboarding. I can tell this game will be the next big thing in the gaming world, or at least i hope so!

I remember seeing the game all the way back in 2018~2019 and thinking it looked very ok at best. Now its 2024 and holy shit its gotten such a glow up. Hearing this song and seeing all the animations makes me really excited for the final release!

I love how expressive everyone and their movements are. It’s like looking at a movie.
Something I thought of while watching this.
He says find a partner and that makes me think of a boss level about having a partner that mirrors how you move and Billie has to get through the level keeping both of them safe while they share a health bar. The way they move is symmetrical, but the level is not. Idk how well it would work or if someone's thought it up already, but I was thinking a chase scene like Barnaby
I really like how animated this looks, many 3d animated projects I find tend to lose that cartoonish-emphasis quality but everything about the timing and motion in this feels spot-on.
