This brings back so many memories! I used to live between Brixton and Clapham North, and I udee to commute into central London everyday. Deeing tjr traffic now, it looks scary! Maybe it has become heavirr in thode 20 years since I left... 😱
No way! Yeah they live right on the boundary between Brixton and Clapham! Probably the traffic in the city is less since the introduction of the congestion charge, and the bicycle superhighways are younger than that too I think? I wan to believe it’s improved.. but I have no frame of reference 😔
I've not even seen any King Charles money yet - maybe we've declared a republic here in Scotland! Welcome to the UK with rain and sun and lots of little steep hills :)
Ahahaha I assure you I did not! It was soooo stressful running the risk of letting him down - riding London to Brighton was his thing he wanted to do. But I admit, once it worked out well I was pretty pleased with myself looking cool in front of ‘baby bro’ 👩🏻🔧 And as he put it; ‘the full experience’ 😆
Yeah I’m surprised to hear this from so many people. But I much prefer cash. I put my week’s budget in my wallet so I can see how I’m doing through the week. How do people manage their budgets when it’s on card?
@helsonwheels I have a Chase card which I pre-load in £100 batches. When I get through the £100 I use my phone to load another £100 from my main account. If my card or phone get stolen the most they can access is what remains of my £100. I can also keep a tight eye on my spending
Right.. like a Van GOUCH painting....impressed with your education
Thanks 😆 we studied him during art GCSE. I loved visiting all the sights of his paintings in Arles 🇫🇷
Bonne balade en vélo ❤ bravo 👏
Merciiiiiiiii! 👋🏼🚴🏻♀️🏴
Love the English countryside. London traffic is busy!😳
Yeah and that was a weekend!! 😳 lucky bro bicycle commutes his way across London so I passed navigation etc to him once we were inside London ☺️

Are you cycling back up to our neck of the woods after London or train. Good luck on your next adventure and have a lovely time with family.
Thanks! I’ll be travelling mostly by bike I reckon, so long as the weather allows 😬🌦️
good to be home
So good 😊 🏴🚴🏻♀️
What's your next adventure?
It’s visa dependent but west Africa all being well, early next year 🤞🏼🚴🏻♀️🥳

Hi Paul! Yeah maybe they’re hedging their bets and waiting a wee while on the Scottish notes 🤭
@ we do have different scottish notes and English shops don’t like them at all
@PaulFreeman1 I know! Try spending NI notes in England 😖
Do you still have your mirror on the "wrong" side? :)
Also this is the first time I saw King Charles money, I had no idea it existed yet.
Yep! Still on the ‘wrong side’ 😁 I don’t have very many UK cycling days planned before I’m back on the continent 🌍
It's not her mirror that's on the wrong side, it's the other road users who are driving on the wrong side.😀
@ 😆 left is right, right is wrong 😆
You got that flat on purpose just to show off your puncture repair skills to your brother. 🤣

Bizarrely I've never seen a King Charles coin or note. All cashless now.

It's the other way for me, I'm much more likely to spend on little things when I have cash. With card I stick to what I need.
@ oh, very interesting! Thanks for the insight ☺️
