ngl, the end of the new God of War felt underwhelming in its setup for what comes next.... BUUUUT!!! Thats in terms of plot. In terms of character, the emotional crux of the story, Kratos finally seeing his redemption ahead of him, being seen as a truly benevolent God, and what Faye wished for him... that was beyond beautiful. And seeing Kratos break down in joy, relief and appreciation of Faye was one of the most touching moments I've ever seen in any piece of media I can think of.

With or without the music, these tender moments are the defining points of many lives. This is poetry, art, music, dance, theatre, and the greatest novels wrapped together and allowing us to live this moment as if we were there. As fantastical as the situations and characters might be, we hear our souls in their voices and feel our desires in their actions.
It's why I can't understand those who play games like these and still dismiss them. I will love and honor some of them, but never will I understand them.

Those "self improvers" who say video games are bad for you probably played only minecraft and never learned something from them. I'm not saying you should not improve yourself, I am saying that quitting them is not better than reading books or staying all the day on social medias. Keep strong fellow gamers, and as someone who went from skinny to a true man, only these characters motivated me, with music and TV-series too. Despite what people like George R. Martin and Roger Ebert say, video games like Red Dead 2, Elden Ring, God of War, and even older games like Spec-Ops: The Line are the symbols of how “real” art is a craft that’s slowly losing it’s prestige. Being able to interact with the world and see EVERYTHING the character sees an experience film or art can't do practically.
I will never forget how Spec-Ops gave the player the choice to use White Phosphorus and then show how choosing to do so inadvertently killed civilians in an inhumane way, children included. “Do you feel like a hero yet?”. That’s something film or imagery will never achieve for possibly thousands of years.

The phrase “it’s just a game” is such a weak mindset. You are ok with what happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you stop getting angry after losing, you’ve lost twice.
There’s always something to learn, and always room for improvement, never settle.

Call me naive, but I believe these moments are indeed real in a different universe from our own. I believe in the multiverse theory that each universe out there are of these stories, whether from books, movies or games. We don’t make these stories, we discover them.

A campaign in a game is always to tell a story of forgive die love and feel and no matter if it ends that mean its dead it takes a part in lifes story to die and be reborn dont matter if theres a remake it tells a point and thats new just like you and you should look up to story and to play the way it is. its to feel the person that your playing as you and to keep living. the moral of the story is keep your life in check and live it all the way. and games show you it not just a game its life, story, art, work, master piece, and feel. END
