I just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying your videos. I'm learning tons watching you and other comic book TH-camrs. You can thank Lunch Money Comics for how I found your channel. I'm getting into collecting comics once again, but now I'm trying to learn more about artists and writers. I'm going down the David Stevens and Wally Wood rabbit holes, and I'm now collecting Vampirella. I'm also hunting for unusual indie books from the 1980s and 90s. Thanks for all you share and for making it so entertaining.
Very interesting topic. You are 💯 right that it's not something we talk about to much in this hobby and when it is spoken it's just someone yelling and not willing to have an actual conversation. We definitely have negative things in this hobby. Everyone will judge in one way or another even if you think your not. I love art for art, whether it's golden, silver, bronze, copper, modern doesn't matter. What bothers me is when someone says one era is better than other. Everyone is going to like certain era's for whatever reason but claiming one is better is just ignorant. I have much more to say but it would be too long to write down. Lol. This was an awesome video and I enjoyed everyone's take. Allen is definitely going away for a long time..lol.😂😂
I’ve always sorta disagreed with the “return to original storytelling” approach due to people being able to find those types in other media. Movies and tv are so much more accessible than comics today, and I think that’s why they need to stand out and not follow a formula
