Respect to Toto for acknowledging the IT Department. Felt that one. If everything works, no one bats an eye, rarely a thank you. One simple thing stops working...and boom.

As a guy who works as a Help Desk technician, I respect him for talking about with them. Literally no cares whats going on there if everything is ok but 1 thing goes down and everybody losing their minds lol.
I work in the Infrastructure side of IT and this hit me the same way, too! There is so much that goes on day-today and planning, let alone the purchasing and maintenance of equipment and systems to make sure everything runs smoothly.
You can say that about electricity, water,gas companies, car mechanics, etc

Love it! How Toto praises all the employees and Team for the hard work put in is truly what makes Petronas AMG my favorite F1 Team. Sure Lewis has all the records and Championships cool, but even Lewis acknowledges everyone hard work and the fans. You cannot teach class and respect. They have it and it's great! George seems to be a great addition to the team as well. Keep it going everyone 2023 is your year. 👏

Very true - I watched the CEO of Nothing Phone starting out on the journey Toto in particular shows. I made a positive comment about that on the video and several Nothing Phone users told me it was all show. You never get that feeling with Toto at Mercedes.

Being lighter probably does help him be quicker. Hasn't really worked for Tsunoda, but I'm sure it has an effect
@@JustSomeGuyWithNoMaidens I'm pretty sure the drivers have a minimum weight. If they're below, the car has to be ballasted.
Hamilton is like 5’9” or something where as George and Toto are both probably pushing 6’ …I think George is the tallest driver in the grid at the mo. He did a helmet swap with Vettel and he couldn’t get Seb’s helmet on …was Seb’s head was much smaller by comparison rofl!!

This is just at Brixworth, home of HPP (High Performance Powertrains). Brackley is where the Formula 1 team is based and where chassis development takes place. Other works teams might house both the power unit side and the race team side on the same property.
What a lesson in simplicity and leadership. Agree love how both Toto and Lewis praise the staff and make George feel so a part of this fantastic team!! Keep it up guys and be the champs you all deserve to be 👏👍

All those people work their ass off so its cool they get to spend a day w the boss and drivers. You can see it in their faces how cool it is to see the people they work with and for. Hopefully they all get free tickets to a race or two. It seems fitting. Great job guys! Merc 4 Life!!!

I may have gotten into F1 2yrs ago however I've loved Mercedes cars and the brand itself since 2009, so nothing will ever make me believe that this is a team that can be put down more than once...they always rise from the ashes of defeat with far greater knowledge and greater ambitions
Not only that(in my opinion)you lot have the best team relationship on the grid and I love that about you guys

Toto seems like a good boss, even better person. Looks after Lewis like his own son. I'm sure it's tough for George to jump in there, but he did a great job this season, hope we see the boys back at the front each race this season

I definitely didn't expect out of Lewis, George and Toto it would be George and Toto bring up fashion during the tour 😂😂😂 I mean George practically begged for the photo shoot after he switched up his trainers for safety boots!
We get to learn so so much from these legends… F1 is more than just a sport,, the team management,, individuals and the whole company,, Mercedes truly shows how a company can take shape when it sticks to its values and core principals.

Absolutely love this team and how much they give the fans a glimpse of what it's like in the day to day running, and also that they answer the questions when it's going good and when it's going bad. Lewis is my favourite and has been since his debut, but also George is a great driver and guy, and wish them all the best for next year. Toto is just one cool dude.

I have a feeling Mercedes team will win the championship in 2023 season. George & Lewis are a phenomenal combination of team mates. One is an experienced record winning champion of a driver & the other is a young blood hungry for a championship title. Nothing could be more exciting.

What a great video to see and my oh my how the Brixworth facility has developed. Having spent a few years there as a subcontractor, looking after their metrologoy and measuring equipment, in the David and Kimi days when it was Ilmor Engineering under Mario Ilien and Paul Morgan, just as Mercedes were buying into F1 as an engine maker, I can tell you that it has always been one of the pinnacles of engineering expertise and always had some of the best of engineers, machinery and was so pioneering in utilising the very best and latest manufacturing and measurement technologies anywhere on the planet. I have always been and I still am in awe of the work the guys do at Brixworth, they really are a special bunch and I do take my hat off to Toto, Lewis and George who always praise the work done at both the Brackley and Brixworth factories who despite being under Mercedes, and being hailed as German, really do Britain so proud.

I'm always impressed with AMG power units. You can get a 4 cylinder engine in the new AMG C63 that produces an astonishing 671 BHP. It has F1 technology. Just imagine what this incredible engine would be like in a Caterham 7 or a Lotus Emira. It would definitely fit the Emira because you can get a AMG 4 cylinder in the Lotus Emira already.
Everyone in the factory would have got such a huge frill out of meeting the boss and drivers. Lesson 101 is always the best.
