It is really cute to see how your pet prairie dog assume a good position so that they can be groomed by your cat. They even seem to compete amongst each other who gets to be groomed first.
Cat is treating prairie dog like kittens. The bite was to get prairie dog to stop moving, she aimed for the spot where you usually grab a kitten (back of neck) to make them behave. Soooo cute
@@sasasale1157 Mother cats get the urge to neck hold their kittens more than is strictly necessary, that's because its an instinctive urge that the cat has to release by doing the thing just like litterbox burying or grooming and not a learned or consciously decided upon behavior
Prairie dogs are insanely smart. At first when I saw the video I just thought, awww how cute, but then when I saw the 4 dogs I was just surprised you still had control and sovereignty over your house. I may even expect one day you'd find your furniture rearranged or you locked out when the dogs decided they wanted the house to themselves..

They drove 2,000 kilometers across the western part of the United States in nine days, but they did not seem to have met the prairie dogs. Prairie dogs in the west are probably hibernating now. To be sorry...X( If they had been friends with you, they would surely have met the prairie dog of nature. I want to see nature's prairie dog too. (#^.^#)
The The way the cat is gently grabbing it by the neck is the way Momma Cats let there kittens know to settle down and it is also a dominating thing they do when there is other cats in their family-not hurting it just letting it know who is boss and to behave-like saying "stop it i am King or Queen and let me finish cleaning you little one!'
How many Prairie Dogs do you have? How long do they live? Do they snuggle with humans the way they snuggle with each other? This is so fascinating! They are so adorable. Bless them!

I used to have ferrets and my siamese was best friends with the male. She would hang off the side of their cage staring in, waiting for them to wake up and play
That's great!! We had 4 P dogs until recently and the cat was ruled by them. Didn't want much to do with them because of a bad experience with a pet rat many years earlier. He just tolerated the P dogs but they got along fine. But how do you keep them from eating your house! lol
Animals are more accepting of other animals than we are of humans. Only one question, do prairie dogs get into all kinds of mischief in the house? They look kind of bratty.
oh yeah they get into more mischief than either a dog or cat does even in kitten and puppy stage. they especially like tearing up couches and stuff like that because they dig holes to live in, in nature
There is no danger to the prairie dogs from this cat, this cat has a gentle temperment. As long as you raise them together and you should always have two prairie dogs in order to keep each other company. It is the same with cats, you should always raise at lease two so they can have a companion.
I certainly could not leave MY cat unsupervised with one of those adorable little things.
Poor cat has got a full-time job, lol. The look of contentment on their faces, I could just about feel the love :-)
