Agenda issues aside, The Acolyte was originally pitched as a series about the Old Republic. This series was not about that at all. A show about the Jedi at the height of their power and influence? This show was not about that. Carrie Ann Moss had about ten minutes throughout the eight episodes, yet was prominently used to sell this show? A wookie Jedi had even less screentime and was then killed off camera? One slap in the face to Star Wars and its fans after another. All exacerbated by Kennedy and the shows creator slamming the audience for NOT lapping this crap up? Boggles the mind!

Trinity, freed her comrade from mind control, how was she supposed to know it would kill the entire coven? Even so, it was self-defense. Sol, acted to defend himself and May. This is what they call a scathing indictment of the Jedi? Pfffffffffffft.....................

Bro the fight scenes were terrible. in the final light saber battle at one point they had their sabers crossed with Qimir having his on the other side of him while Sol was holding below his wrist and all Qimir had to do was flip his wrist and could have killed him. So many time in the fight people could have done the killing blow and did not. STUPID writing and STUPID fight choreography

I can’t comprehend why they hire people who hate Star Wars fans. I can understand hiring someone that doesn’t care for it. I don’t think Tony Gilroy cares for it much but he builds on it well. I don’t need everyone to be Sam Witwer but it’d be nice to have someone who adds to the lore as a fan more often
