Hello! You can't rent anything at the base camp. There no shop or rentals there. There is a place in Nimalimg where you can find stay and food, but even they do not rent out gear.
I would suggest to go from Markha side rather than Chokdo, the kongmarula pass takes away all the energy while caryying everything. You can also use a gps app like GAIA Gps for navigation while doing the summit attempt at night. Satrt summit attempt at around 10pm and that should work well. Hope this helps!

This was in 2019 and it's a 6,000+ mtr peak, so there's always snow on top of it 😁
