21 year old ITFC fan here. I've been fortunate enough to be able to watch town week after week since i can remember. To see everyone pulling in the same direction, looking forward to supporting our club is something special. Regardless of what happens going forward, games like Southampton make some hard years watching town all worthwhile. Great pod guys
As a fan since 1978 I’ve seen the good times, the indifferent times, and the downright crap times. If we go up this season I’ll be particularly pleased for those fans under 25 years old who have witnessed season after season of false hope and dire football (courtesy of Messrs Keane, Jewell, Hirst, Lambert, Cook). McKenna is the best manager we’ve had since Burley and has the potential to surpass him, and hopefully Sir Bobby and Sir Alf. Fingers, legs and everything else crossed for the right result on Saturday. 😎
Ben ! Your ok. We suffered for tooooo long. We deserve a fun last day. Ware your ❤️. On your sleeve
Joe's right about the generational thing.... Important for the future of our club, that these younger generation can experience some real success..... Thinking Keiffer Moore, could be a decent, permanent squad addition, too. Should we get over the line. Some good experience and he's done great since his loan arrival....
The younger fans deserve credit for supporting the club when there seemed little incentive to do so. It's all too easy to choose to "support" a club that is guaranteed to win a trophy every other season.
Bloomin’ love your Pod!
💙
It 𝘪𝘴 very much like last year against Exeter, but without the safety net of a Fleetwood Town away game in case we mess it up. That's why Imo it'll be nervy...But hey, we're used to that by now!
UP THE TOWN !!!!
How can anyone sleep this week……..😳
The Tractor boys have just continued to plough and sow every field in the Championship and now the green grass is shooting through to the glory lands of the Premiership.
Thanks for the pod, though i do feel that we should hold back on dreaming about the Prem.
So exciting!
3 more sleeps and 1 more point 🤞💙
🤞
Cheers lads 👍
Thanks for watching Andy!! 💙
If we are going to be petty, in the build up to our winner, we could claim a penalty against the Coventry player who pushed Edmundson into an offside position when the ball is played, but the correct choice was to let them play on then Burgess capitalised on it.
I think you'll lose to Hudders and then Leeds, being Leeds, will concede a 98th minute own goal with a Meslier own goal to bring the score to 3-3 or something. Seriously though congrats. A great achievement
One word boys (Maidstone).
It's not in the bag until it's in the bag
Agreed!
Can you believe we lost to Maidstone United in January?
Out of our loanees of Hutchinson, Moore or Sarmiento who would you keep if you could only have one?
Hutchinson all day long
@@seandunderdale I was thinking the same thing, but something tells me Sarmiento would do better in the premier league.
@@johnbarnes8755 Theyre about the same age, but I think Hutchinson has a higher ceiling for development. The amount hes progressed with us over the season is bonkers. If that curve can continue at all close to what its been, he will have HUGE resale value...as lets face it, we will get raided by bigger clubs, and he would net us a pocketful when Chelsea buy him back for £100m!!!
Buy one, keep the other on another season loan. Dont actually care which way around it is...lets keep this group together!
@@seandunderdale totally agree about keeping the squad together (as well as McKenna) that’s why I’m so desperate to get that second slot. Hopefully there are some shrewd deals to keep them together and not go bonkers in the market like Forest did last year.
@johnbarnes8755 I just heard on the blue Monday podcast that upon promotion we can trigger a second year loan option on sarmiento. If that's true, it seems like a no brainer.
Have you heard/read the rumours that Brighton might be interested in hiring Kieran McKenna?
We have - doesn't appear to be anything new Geoff?
