EPIC discussion on Dark Universe! 🔥 Always enjoy the in-depth look and conversations you guys have! 👍 Keep up the great work! So hyped for this! They definitely need to bring a Universal Monsters presence back to USH! I'll take Dark Universe in any form on the West Coast 💯💀! Thanks for the info!
Agreed. Behind Monsters Unchained. The Creature character has been included in every release video (that is not IP specific). I would be shocked and disappointed if they only gave us an animatronic and not the rumored boat ride.
Now you see why this is my most highly anticipated theme land. When I first saw the video I was speechless. Especially the theming in this land is absolutely astonishing. Universal deserves an applause for bringing this concept to life and I can’t wait to witness it. Another thing that excites me is Monsters Unchained attraction is going to be ambitious. Not only they are going to put every possible technology in there but they will invent new technology that’s insane.
The Phantom of the Opera in the e-ticket will shoot fourteen 3 foot tall flames out of the organ that dance in synchronicity. Danny Elfman created the original soundtrack for the land, too.
I am excited about the Dark Universe at Universal Epic Universe more than anything else. I would love to see if expand it rides involving The Invisible Man, The Phantom of the Opera, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, and The Mummy.
22:52 The vehicles spin randomly, which is not like Cosmic Rewind since those spins are predetermined. As far as getting a good look at the Werewolf, I believe there will be two (entry and exit), and you will go through three times total.
@@OrangeGrove55Check out Storm Chaser or Cobras Curse, both are rides by Mack Rides... I'm pretty sure this ride is basically that, with a different theme and layout.
I am so pumped for dark universe and epic universe and gets me more excited to see the other plans like Vegas Texas Hollywood and hopefully they do that cruise with jurrassic island would be sick asf
Regarding entertainment, Universal Studios will open a huge daily parade with a +100 performers. The spinning coaster is a 2 minute ride and there are 2 werewolf's on both entrances. The burning blade windmill will have real fire and they will use 2 mixtures of fuel so the daytime fire will be good visible and the night time won't look great too.
As far as the werwolf goes. It might be static like the raptors on the velocicoaster as you pass by. Universal might repeat its patterns. But…if they are truly competing with Disney now, and are taking this park to the next level, then it might swipe like the Yetti on Expedition Everest. Universal knows how to fill the gaps that Disney doesn’t provide for guests. But I’d expect a partial animatronic with head movement and sound. I hope they go for broke though.
Yea, it's AA figures, it was my first time watching the video , raw reaction, and they explain later on in the video that they are in fact AAs. Which btw, is AWESOME!!
Love the content! No political garbage and no house of mouse taking up half the video. Keep up the great content! Watched the WHOLE thing in one sitting ❤❤
I think the video shows the cars aligning as they enter the shed. It’s too bad they didn’t do a second shack with an inverted stall with wolf man jumping at you from below.
I want to add people who are all over writing in quote "how will Disney respond" all the time. Yes it puts pressure and competition which is healthy, however don't expect Disney to rise to the same level as Universal is currently so instead just give wow and express your appreciation to Universal because if you only here to wait until Disney responds then your not caring in ways what Universal is doing themselves separately on their own..
So this and Nintendo are my dads and my most anticipated lands. He probably wont be able to handle the Monsters E Ticket but he loves Frankenstein, Dracula, the Wolfman, and all those monsters he just wants to walk around and expirence that world. I think he might be able to handle the Nintendo rides but even if he dosen't he wants to see the Mushroom Kingdom in the real world.
Night on Bald Mountain? Traumatizing? As a kid I would watch Fantasia just for the Night on Bald Mountain scene. It was the only part I actually liked. I was fascinated by it. That may say more about me than I intend.
Universal is doing an absolutely amazing job with Epic Universe. I can’t wait to experience Dark Universe. AND modern Disney Parks management sucks. See? We can have it both ways. We can be happy for Universal AND be frustrated with Disney’s incompetence. Unless you’re not capable of multitasking. Haha
Universal not having a good year when come to the box office. I wouldn't be shock or surprise if Despicable me 4 finish around $500-600million at the box office
I'm not sure about Universal and Dreamwork, but the thing about Illumination is that they only used a small budget. In their most recent movie, Migration, the box office only amounted to $270 million, but since the budget was only $72 million, they made a lot of money. The Super Mario Bros. movie amounted to a grand total of about $900 million, but since the budget is only $100 million, they are really raking in money. So if Despicable Me 4 follows the same path, even if they only rake in $300 million in box office revenue, they will still be making money and considered to be huge success. This is in contrast to Disney, whose movie's budget can go from $200 million to $500 million and, in a rare case, even billions of dollars. So far, the Illumination budget for movie has never exceeded $100 million. The Super Mario Bros. movie is their most expensive yet.
Yeah this Disney universal rivalry is as heated as back in the early 2000s coaster wars with six flags and cedar fair lmao might be a little more toxic tho 😂😂 imagine they burn out so bad they merge like six flags and cedar fair obviously to big of companies but that would be so funny

Rumored to be in the back corner of Dark Universe for creature of black lagoon expansion area.

That’s nice, but it better have a pyramid next to it 😎

@35:45 spot on w the wooden coaster support structure idea. Really would take this to the next level

Phantom is in the e-ticket, Gillman is a phase 2 expansion.

Spin randomly? Not sure I like that tbh.

I'm hype for that dark ride, it might just be the crown jewel at the entire park!
the creature of the black lagoon ride was moved to the expansion plan i think
Cool!! Thank you, Eric!!

@23:00 if the werewolf is above everyone, they can look up. Hope it goes through slowly or swing launches past it
33:06 There are permits for Gas in this area of the park I’m pretty sure it ain’t projections lol 😂

@@OrangeGrove55 I know right!
This will be an epic land
OG you aren’t allowed to talk Kendrick without me lol

“‘Me and daddy josh” sent me 😂☠️
49:38 that’s like going to one of them restraints where there rude on purpose and getting made that they’re rude at you 😂

I cant wait to go. I hope they have iconic animatronics from "Distortions Unlimited", they are legends in this dark animatronics area.
Dca and hollywood studios should have an alien version of extraterrorestrial alien encounter

MOST excited for Dark Universe!!!
Pay atte tion to their computer screens and stuff in the beginning as they cut from designer to designer. Little easter eggs throughout.

The park is expected to open before Summer 2025 now

Anyone who grew up reading Famous Monsters magazine is going to swarm to this.
I would gladly have Dark Universe replace our version of Wizarding World in USH if there's not enough room.
❤
Will be the best land. Its what galaxys edge wishes it was lol

People underestimate these minions 😂
Hopefully Wicked will do well. Judging from Internet reactions, it’s probably going to do (at the very least) decent numbers.
