The story felt a bit confusing that its hard to piece together where it starts and ended...so we got The Americans invading mexico for the first chapter ? Then its some globe trotting in southest asia...and then the Chinese Invaded US ? Finally we go straight to the moon. I feel like neversoft have a huge scope about what could this be
It could’ve been set in an alternate universe where technology is more advanced that we have more advanced military technology, even advanced UAVs would be a thing in the 2000s era. As well as Tesla Cybertrucks,
This seems to tie into that Los Angeles multiplayer map with the escort mode, and one of the advertisements in that "Suspension" level mentions LA seems like part of the campaign had us fighting enemy forces in America, fighting the cartel, fighting in eastern asia, and of course, space woulda been a very chaotic game, but the story seems cool, albeit missing the glue to hold it together since it wasn't finished yet
also interesting to see how it seems like we're helping possibly the secret service with transporting the VP through a war-torn LA, which is almost identical to what became the mission Cordis Die in Black Ops 2
@@tannakiTV It wouldn’t shock me if this mission was straight up repurposed and shoved into BO2, especially considering how out of place the LA mission in that game is - compared to the rest of the story.

These missions all play like concepts without any continuity. They're pretty cool too but I doubt the game was meant to end on operation deadbolt.
