Nice collaboration but I still love the original way more because of the passion Ronnie puts into his vocals whereas Kacey sounds largely monotone with the help of auto-tune and somewhat devoid of the heartbreaking delivery that this song deserves imo.
Plano Jag where does she use autotune? I hear a lot of reverb but not autotune. In an interview, Ronnie literally raves about how Kacey recorded her vocals pitch perfect in one take. Lmao
blackpanther1121 Every time she’s in the studio. It’s not just reverb. She uses software to enhance her vocals. Ronnie will say that to be nice and to sell records but it’s still auto tune. Maybe it’s because I grew up on 90s country that I have no need for any younger “country music” artists save Carrie Underwood.
Plano Jag you can listen to kacey’s first two albums plus christmas album if you want clean vocals. She’s experimenting with different genres now, but that’s not autotune lmao.
This is wonderful version :) Please do Space Cowboy :)
MartinHCollection this version isn’t really country music. Especially when you compare it to the original
@@josephwebb5663 so?
You should check out her Space Cowboy...
Awesome reaction. You should check out a texas artist Granger Smith- Hollar. And you are in Houston area?? Were you near that explosion??
I was 20 miles away and it shook the house

Lmao, Kacey doesn't need auto-tune. Watch her live performances and you'll see how pitch-perfect she usually is.
Ionan89 So then Kacey Super-fan, why did she use it then in this recording? Lemme guess, you think she’s amazing, am I right?
