Fury is the name of a real tank. The one you see is the real deal. It came from the Bovington Tank Museum. Sgt. Lafayette Pool named his tank "In the Mood".
@@steve2070 Of course it is. No tank battles were ever fought like these. Given that the Germans had already sighted in the battlefield, all 4 tanks advancing on their positions would have been blown up on their first volley. The Battle with the Tiger was a real joke. But when has a war movie ever gotten it right 100% of the time. The venerated SAVING PRIVATE RYAN was not even close to 100% accurate. From bullets traveling through water and killing soldiers to flame throwers on Omaha to men walking casually through the countryside all bunched up, give me a break those things never happened.😮
@@mikealvarez2322 Correct, the battle with the Tiger 1 was a joke. Fury as depicted in the movie is a M4A2 76mm HVSS which would easily penetrate the Tigers front hull armor from the range they were shooting at. The L/55 76mm main gun had a penetration of 143mm of unsloped armor at 100 meters and could penetrate the Tiger 1 armor (100 mm front hull) out to 400 meters 0 degree or even a 30 degree slope. As far as the Tiger taking out all 4 Shermans in the first volley, it would take 4 volley's, and contrary to popular belief, not all German tank gunners were crack shots at moving targets. I have a bookshelf full of books written by and about WW2 tankers, US, UK, Russian, and German, you would be amazed at how many German gunners missed the 1, 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th shots at moving targets. Plus the fact that Tiger 1's and II's represented a low percentage of tank v tank battles. It was primarily Panzer III's, IV's and Panthers. The Chieftain has put out a video or two debunking a lot of this.
@@guyintenn I meant that scene where the 4 Shermans are advancing on German anti-tank guns is not realistic in that they had already taken out American armored vehicles. They would have had that field presighted and no tank commander would approach them head on....not unless he was suicidal. My 3 biggest observations regarding the battle with Tiger is first of all the Tiger would have taken the lead tank, Fury, out first then the last tank in the column. Next is the fact that the Tiger would never have approached the Shermans thus giving up his big advantage. Finally, the Tiger would have taken Fury out first since that tank presented the greater threat.
Nice reaction Reema.... I know you were upset but your reaction was genuine and that was very cool.👍🏾👍🏾 Fury is a great movie that gives you a great and unique perspective on war and tank warfare. Outstanding performances by a group of very respectable actors who brought greatness out of each other. 🫡
Fury provides the viewer with the grittiness of Tank Warfare. The movie is loosely based on the very real Lafayette "War Daddy" Pool. Pool was the Ace of Aces when it came to tank combat. He and his crew killed 1000 Germans, destroyed 28 tanks and destroyed over 250 armored vehicles and all in an eighty day period. The Fat Electrician did a program on him. It's a must watch.
8:10 Personal theory: They are not asking Norman's faith, they are asking if he was "baptized" with a war name, thats how they know if Norman has combat experience or not
Highly recommend watching "Das Boot" (1981). Its like Fury but the story plays in a German Submarine. Its even quite realistic, they build a complete Sumarine interior with the help of Submarine veterans and technicans.
Half tracks were half truck and half armored personnel carriers. They carried troops, pulled artillery, and they could be used as an anti aircraft platform.
The big gun called the German 88 was a multi purpose gun. The 88 could be used as an artillery gun and it was also used in their tanks. A round could go thru a Sherman tank like a BB going thru paper.
The last stand you see is reminiscent of a real standoff between one man and a Battalion of Germans. Audie Murphy held off a battalion of Germans while standing atop a burning tank destroyer. He was the most decorated soldier of WW2. He starred in his own movie in 1955 called TO HELL AND BACK.
I understand if its an emotionless reaction, but its how people are sometimes, doesnt mean they dont care, I d rather someone be honest and not lie to anyone, atleast they didnt do a fake tear thumbnail.
@@frauni3118 I believe they were judged a criminal organization at the Nuremberg trials. The last years of the war the Waffen SS admitted Polish Citizens into its ranks. By April 1945 they were adding all sorts of people to their ranks including the very young from the Hitler Youth.
21:33 This doesn't make sense, outside of the movie universe. The sniper would have shot the tank commander in the head instead of a civilian, same distance, same size. Also, they had way better options at the end than just stay and get killed... The movie loses me at that part.
I just found you. I see that you have reacted to the John Wick series. But, you have not reacted to NOBODY with Bob Odebnkirk. If you haven't seen it, you're in for a treat.
I mean, why would the guys trust the women in the apartment or building when Brad Pitt had literally told Logan Lerman to shoot at kids before that. His training methods are sus in this.
People ask, why would God allow such bad things to happen? Well, it's because of our free will in our own will to choose. When we were kicked out of the garden of eden, we were on our own for most things. But, He was always still with us, even to this day.
I had very high expectations for this film but when I watched it I was immensely disappointed by the weakness of the plot, script and development and most of all by the total unreality of the battle scenes.
Crazy because now United States and Germany are close allies and very good trading partners German's also come to the states quite often to help build things in just reminds you that during WW2 even civilians were told to kill German's if spotted and seen as a enemy its like dang all that killing of all those people to just get along a couple years later lives lost for no reason were also are now allies with Japan even Vietnam is seen as a potential ally of the U.S those wars were very belligerent and asinine
You had to see this video from the fat electrician if you want to see the real war daddy: The Most Gangster Tanker Of WWII - Lafayette "War Daddy" Pool
I'm not going to watch this again... I just had to give you a like...stop being so adorable and beautiful ❤❤❤❤... that's like saying to stop breathing ❤❤❤❤... you can't help being beautiful 😍😍😍...I forgive you... for being.... you ❤❤❤❤❤
Most of the world will never realize how many times God gave us miracles to win WW2. A Louisiana bootlegger developed Higgins boats. Carbine Williams while in prison, developed the floating chamber for machine guns. A German citizen turned Hollywood famous actress developed early WiFi and triple axis/ gimble targeting systems for planes and tanks and subs. We cracked German and Japan code machines. A French newspaper guy turned spy, even though the Germans became aware of him, could somehow hide in plain site, then had a direct line to Churchill Montgomery and FDR, to tell them where Germany was hiding armaments in buildings in Paris and other cities. And if we hadn't beat them at battle of the bulge, within a year Germany would have been fully stocked with jets, drones, rockets, machine guns in every soldiers hands, switched everything electrical to analog, and been nuclear. And Bell labs developed a phone system where FDR Churchill and Montgomery could talk to each other in real time, plain English, yet the calls were automatically encoded and decoded, on each other's end.

In the mood I, II, and III had many more exploits than this, but this movie is hollywood fiction.

Staying to fight saved a ton of American soldiers reaching the crossroads, not deathwish.

Speaking of Military, I recommend Hacksaw Ridge. It's Incredible True Story 👍.
I second that choice.
I'm a former tanker (driver) deployed in Baghdad as also. this is as real as it gets 😩

Those are tracer rounds that you are seeing. Tracers are so that you make sure that your rounds are on target.
Awesome coolest funniest amazing and lovely reaction every time 😇🎉❤
Guy Richie's, The Covenant, and also Lone Survivor
The young Waffen SS soldier that looks under the tank is the more innocent version of Norman at the beginning of the movie.

When Bible asks, "Are you saved?" he is asking if Norman has accepted Christ as Lord and Savior.
And the Lord said whom shall I send to like and reply. I said here am I, send me.
The christening of 'Machine' is one the most impactful and emotional scenes in war cinema history.
The Pak 40 was a 75mm anti tank weapon that the Germans used. It could penetrate 4.43 inches of armor at 500yds

Rambo: Last Blood.
Thank's!
The most fictional aspect of this movie is the fact that Germany actually had an operational tiger tank in 1945
She missed so many points in this movie

I'd hate to be German at this time, late war conscription went rampant and it was the most brutal then as well, nobody was safe from this bloody war.
