Had my first proper ride out off the year on my 2018 Ducati Monster 1200 S on Wednesday. Was near perfect riding weather. You do forget how powerful the bikes can be when you're just pottering round town. Will be over your way in the coming months. Will definitely need to swing by Loomies or that second cafe you stopped at. 👌🏼

I am so glad you said take it easy, because these summer riders i talk to are off there bikes 6 odd months jump back on and think there in motogp. Glad you have common sense though buddy and the bike sounds lovely. I ride all year myself i am to addicted to riding maaaaa motorbike to keep it in a shed or whatever :D

You know what I like about your vids Chops(besides your silky voice and witty charm)..?? You're not afraid to be naughty :D and show what the bike your riding can do. I'm also a big fan of Avon tires(or is it Tyres??)...I push my Victory Cross Country more than a big big should be and hands down the Avon Cobras give me the best performance.

I have some RST Race Department ones which are one piece and slightly thicker. Also have some Dainese two piece ones which are thinner, better for warmer weather 👍

I think 80db is the limit you can have for the road here, and they do measure it at the road side. Being a tourist they maybe lenient, but in theory you have to abide by the road laws of the country you're visiting. I'm sure we've chatted about this before, again I don't wonna sound like a wolly, but you'd need to be careful.
Nice vid. I'm jealous. Both sound awesome in very different ways. GSXR sounds evil. FYI I thoroughly recommend laser eye surgery, you won't regret it but do your research & don't be tempted to cut corners on price when it's about someone shooting a laser in to your eyes lol.

You can't get them here unless you order them in. Aussie dealers won't get them for this model......apparently. Unless Arrow 4 into 2.......apparently.

Womble has the Hill Top on his already (still done him). I will be taking mine back just to be checked over and new power run. I'm positive the exhaust has unleashed loads more torque than before and hopefully will be at the 190 ish at the back wheel now, was 184 before on a hot day 😎

Would you recommend getting a GSX-R1000 or do you think the 1000R is the one to get? I have a local dealership with a great deal on the base one, plus Suzuki giving 0% interest financing.
Yes base ones have some amazing deals and its basically the same bike! I think the QS / Blipper is an option now as you must have that! Suspension is great on the R and if you can find a deal on an R could be worth the extra..

Today we ride just normal... 5minutes later.. 😂👌🚀. That color, that sound! Just awesome. But for me the sound before I liked a bit more I think. But hard to say :). We need more money to own all this fabulous bikes. So keep it easy, the sun is still down and we aren't easy to see out of a car :(

But won't forget, because your opinion last year, how good translogic quickshifter work, was one of the reasons to buy one. Maybe you know, we wrote last year about it... :) 👍

It's an awesome bike, converted me back from nakeds to sportsbikes and after trying the Tuono again incredible as it is I'm very happy with the GSXR

Exhaust sounds great. Level 6 on the tc/aw is almost unrideably intrusive IMO! I tend to set mine at 2 or 3 max.
Also the fuel gauge on the GSXR is a bit of a pain I find. I really think it needs to be coupled with a Warning light.
Yes agreed, I normally run 2 / 3 but just because of the time of year thought I would add some safety blanket :-)

No the bike has always hunted before I got it, think once the CAT is removed it does it.. Doesnt seem to matter about the mapping

My Tuono v4 1100 with sc project racing oval slip was 115 db and the stock test level was 105 db. So your 105 is not that loud
