This looks phenomenal! I’m gonna give ya a secret so it won’t dry out and need more dressing the next day. After you cook, drain, and cool your macaroni, add it to a bowl or container with about a cup of water, and then refrigerate it for at least 4 hours. After that, add your veggies and dressing. Now it will not absorb all the dressing and dry out.
Thank you so much. I use to do that with the water until I worked at a deli and learned to just do it this way. The pasta absorbing the dressing actually gives it more flavor vs it just absorbing the water which doesn’t have as much flavor. We would make a huge batch and after 6 hours we would add more dressing and pack the containers. Thank you so much for watching and your suggestion, I’m sure some of my viewers rather try this technique. 😀
i just dreamed this salad and woke up wanting it so bad even though i never had it before, i will be using the vinegar and using probably famous sams pickles chopped up, just a few but thats what i dreamed is a bit if pickle crunch.

I’m actually going to make your old version, the revamped version and scoop out a couple of amounts and add the raisins to one and avocado to another. I know I will love all versions. THANK YOU Chef

Delilah Shields this Salad is just as delicious without Shrimp. You could add crab meat or tuna if you want. Try doing. Combo of tomatoes and diced pepperoni in this salad, it’s amazing.

The amount of shrimp to use is 1 1/2 pounds of shrimp- I used medium but of course you can change the amount.

Hello, I’m sorry for my late reply. You could leave out the sour creams.
There are cheap spills you can take if you are lactose intolerant. I take them and it allows me to eat anything !
They do have vegan sour cream made by Tofutti. And its awesome. You should try it.

Use old bay or Tony's seasoning on the shrimp and in the salad.
I make mine with Amish macaroni salad to give it a sweet and zesty flavor
