    God seeing these last empty shots of Kamino before the bombardment always get me. I grew up watching Clone wars so it felt extremely somber watching this place get destroyed. Like one of the last vestiges of my childhood literally sinking in the ocean.

      I get that. In the moment I was a little confused at the long shots but they did a good job of communicating that emotion though omegas reaction

    TK troopers are storm troopers, or in this case, what will eventually become storm troopers. Project War Mantle is basically the training program that begins the storm trooper program. As for the clone troopers with the active chips, they don't become robots. It's more that the chip rewires their brains so that they are a different version of themselves. One devoid of emotional attachments and many of their old personality traits. It also seems to have a sort of "factory default reset" effect to it where the clones stop doing the things that made them more individual, like using their names. However, there are signs that the chips don't always have as strong an effect across the board or that their potency is starting to wane.

    yes, we met Gregor before
    he was in the Arc where R2 and all the droids go on a mission, and we initially were led to believe he died.
    He had amnesia and was working in a cantina, until they found him.

      Right! But I don't think he had that creepy laugh.

      @@HSPaisley Ha, no he didn't. Well he's been through some stuff since and probably hit his head a couple of times.
      He appears in one other show, and he is definitely the clone with a screw loose.

      @@HSPaisley yeah, his mind became more unstable after
      1) amnesia from a crash landing, and
      2) being in the center of a massive explosion

    Are you going to watch and react to Andor? It won't mess with any of the other show timelines and it has the best writing of any Star Wars live action show.

    Ever since The clone wars. Star Wars animation has been pretty good. Even Star Wars Resistance found its footing in the second season (at least I thought so). Honestly I forgot about season 2. I'm haven't watched it yet because I wanted to watch your video first. I'm hoping to see more of the impacts on the galaxy as a whole. Andor and Obi Wan gave us more of that and I'm hoping to see even more in season 2.

    Hey Hannah, since this is the channel you react and review stuff, would you be interested about reviewing a book? Not long ago I heard the novel Ruination by Anthony Reynolds on audible I thought the story was right up your alley
    Honestly the audiobook is simply awesome, but reading it should be equally amazing, and since it's League related I thought it could spark your interest even more
    Either you decide to turn it into content or not, the recommendation stands!

    I think you're grossly misjudging how much animation costs

    • @AndrewD8Red
      @AndrewD8Red ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Current US averages are:
      For cinema, CGI costs about $500,000 per minute.
      For TV, the cost is around $2,000 per minute.

    • @Olochgu
      @Olochgu ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AndrewD8Red But this is far beyond regular TV animation
      Clone wars was famously so expensive that George had to help pay it from his own pockets, and while the Bad Batch probably doesn't quite reach that level of cost, on account of being able to reuse a lot of engines and assets build for the clone wars, it's still likely to be substantially more expansive than comparable shows.
      It's certainly not so cheap that it can just be written off.

      @@Olochgu
      Oh, is this one notoriously expensive?
      Was it made after Disney took over? Bet everything gets more expensive when The Mouse gets involved.
      EDIT Did some checking and you're right; this one averages around $40,000 per minute.
