AWS, as a company, provides on demand cloud computing platforms to individuals, companies, and governments, on a paid subscription. AWS hosts enormous number of virtual cluster of computers, which are available 24/7 for the customers, with their choice of operating system, RAM, CPU’s, networking. It also provides the users access to a console, which helps them monitor and configure their systems.
Based on the customer’s need, they can reserve a single computer or a cluster of computers. Amazon manages , upgrades, and provides security to each of these systems.

what is an instance?
It is a virtual server in EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) that is required to run applications on AWS.
in your your honest opinion, is a career or even a job in AWS possible for somebody who has absolutely no experience in scripts, programming, networking, databases, etc? Somebody who just has a basic to a intermediate knowledge of computers.
Hey Skillet Burritos, you can definitely think about making a career in cloud computing. However, to get started you will need to learn a little of scripting. Clearing the AWS developer certification will set you up for a career in it. No such coding knowledge is essentially a pre-requisite here. Cheers :)
