@@classiccardad I hate when you get into those moments where you’re having a brain fart or utterly confused and just questions everything you thought you knew 😭😭😂
watching you work with your dad and learn stuff is so cool! My dad taught me how to drive, but hes not a mechanic so i had to learn that myself. so nice to see someone not afraid to show that they're learning
Awesome channel with a beautiful car, my dad and I have been working on my 1980 for about a year now. We've done almost exactly the same things as you, from the e-brake to the calipers and the muffler delete. Love everything you guys are doing, and I am jealous every time you show off your interior. Mine still has all of the carpet ripped out, the original black carpet was yellow when we got it from being left in the sun. Can't wait for more!
Not sure if you intend on monetizing your videos at some point but, you will want to find royalty free music to play in the background. Otherwise you might get copyright stricken and TH-cam with take away monetization for the video. Final tip, would recommend editing in subtitles for times when it’s hard to hear your voice. For example when the air compressor was running. Otherwise the content is going pretty good, I can’t wait to see what becomes of this channel.
Thank you! I like to keep ads off my videos which is why i keep the music in, this is for people to see what im doing, not watch 30 seconds of charmin ultra strong in between clips
Awesome video. I’m working on doing this to my C3. Rear rims too hot to touch just driving to nearby gas station due to E brakes frozen stuck so replacing them. Wondering how u were able to remove caliper and hang it since that line doesn’t flex (steel). Did u loosen something? Also around 18:42 you’re burnishing the ebrakes right? Also, Careful blowing air when working near brakes. U don’t want to breathe brake dust in. Clean with liquid brake cleaner instead.
Great video. I am working on my '79 parking brakes. I saw that during your testing the park/e brake the wheels only slowed down and didn't stop completely. Is this normal for these cars? Mine is manual transmission and will only slow the wheel speed in first gear. I thought they should be able to kill the engine. Are these really not that strong? More adjustment needed? 👽🐍
ive always been told running the rear axle in gear while jacked up is really hard on the half shaft u joints. just something you might want to check into and keep in mind.
A couple things that might help is one of those small mics that clip to ur shirt for a bit better quality and to help with a better intro would be like a doitwithdan kind of intro where he put music over something that he's doing with some on-beat cuts then once he's done walks to the cam and does a short intro
Sweet work!, saw your Instagram story about feedback and stuff. Found myself a little bored at the half way mark so skipped ahead abit to near the end, what about an out-tro to tie it all off other than that I’d have to say it’s all good!
Congrats Dad, I couldn't get my son to Help me @ my C3. Best regards from Germany
your dad seems like such a chill and cool teacher. he explains everything so well. my dad used to yell at me for getting something wrong lollll
Hes awesome, i piss him off sometimes doing dumb shit but hes patient with me 😂

The drum brakes arent strong at all, throwing it in neutral can help slow it down more though.

Otherwise, great vid
Honestly I think what she does is fine not everyone needs a intro and myself I hate watching intros but that’s just me.
W background music
6:10 no thoughts, head empty moment
What’s next in store for it?
this video is a vibe
