I loooove net balls, my favorite part of the game.
The ones where it bounces twice on the net-like the Wang Hao one here-are probably easier to get back when they’re that close to the net than a single bounce. But it always FEELS like more of a feat, because you think “ah, just barely enough time” and then suddenly realize you’ve been given a second chance. A real rollercoaster of emotions!

There is one I'm missing... Koki Niwa did a roller last year (or in 2022, I do not know) that was equally impressive as Fan's against Gauzy. Or at least, it reminded me of that.

Yeah. I feel like he should have though since it hit the net assembly

@@TableTablewithDov Exactly. If it was like a ghost serve and it hits Timos side and bounces back and hits the net and somehow Timo hits it before it touches either his opponents side or his side again then it should be his point

@@joepoeandhisgopro7379 no because outside of serving the net counts as any other obstruction, its as if it had hit his not paddle hand or something

      @@joepoeandhisgopro7379 no it isn't.
There is a rule saying that after hitting the table, the ball can't hit anything else.
If the opponent do a ghost serve, the ball bounce on his side, on your side and then hit the net before you can touch it, is already point for your opponent even if you are able to somehow save the ball.
This is the same case for Timo.
The ball hit the net first, then hit the table and after that hit the metal part of the net, Timo saved the ball but the point was already ended(it's the same as waiting for the ball to touch the ground and than hit it if this example can help more)
