By far the coolest Mame Cabinet EVER made!!! I have seen this video several times and never get tired of it, it still amazes me that you made this masterpiece!
Thanks bro, Alot of hardwork and time went into this. It was spot on in everyway to a mk2,3, or 4 cabinet except for the front panel, and the extra 1inch of width need to accomodate the bigger monitor.
@solidsnake397 thanks. Yeah I made the bottom marquee holder out of 1"x1" wood, I cut two shallow lines with the table saw, but the router would work fine. the top is just aluminum angle iron.
Congrats my friend!! It gets amazing!! It is to show to people that unknown how difficult is to create a great Arcade Machine. To me, these old Arcades are REAL ART! :) You are an artist, for sure. Cheers from Brazil.
This is an awesome cabinet man , don't care who you are. I've been wanting to get a dedicated MKII cab for God knows how long, but I'm not shelling out $2,000 - $3,000 for it lol. I'll probably end up doing a similar build. Really I can't tell a difference between this and an original cab.
no problem! you're really handy with wood and electronics i must say :) i have a dedicated mk2 cabinet transfered into a mame aswel, about 1200 games and pinballs on it at this point. i also have a dedicated T2 shooter, KI2 (with ki 1 and 2 in it) and a umk3 (with all 4 mk games aswel) old school arcades are great! :)
Great job! I've always painted my sides on my cabs, but how/where do you get your full size cab prints? Are they prints with spray adhesive, or printed vinyl? Thanks for any help. I'll link you once I get my cab vids uploaded.
@jdcrispe95 Its a Dell optiplex 2.8ghz, 40 gig HD, 1 gig ram. It works pretty good. I only have the mame emulator, and nes on there. 1000 games total. And out of that I might play 50. I went through the entire mame game list and picked out the one I might play. I built a really nice mini mk mame much more involved look through my videos it's pretty cool.
Mate you did a bloody EXCELLENT job on that cab! Personally i think it looks better than the genuine cab sittng next to it! You running Hyper Spin? Any videos of game play on it?
@jdcrispe95 Very cool. you can make the pc anyway you want and mount it inside the cab with no case.. it's much cooler that way. I did that on the mini mk cab did you build a mame cab yet?
You've got skill man... that was actually interesting to watch and learn how they make the machines. Does that run on windows with an emulator and emulated game or with its own operating system, or are you just running straight pc games?
good work. I work for Armis, we are looking for people to make some custom arcade cabinets for our game. Just putting that out there just in case you decide to do it again.
lol the other video was really long. TH-cam is a pain in the ass with the thumbnails it allows you to put up for people to view, so I made a new video to have better thumbnails. I want this video to get popular.
@pkingboys Yes as long as you hook the coin Mechs up correct!!! Its technically illegal though to charge for mame games... look up videos on youtube and google on how to do it. hope this helps
Did you make a template for this build? I want to build my own cabinet in the near future and I always loved the shape of the MK machines. Please let me know, Thanks
Looking for T-molding or T-edging as its called some places is the hardest part of my MK build. Bigpete? Where on earth did you get the RED T mold? The closest I can get is burgundy.. I live in Australia and this stuff is nowhere to be found. A store called clark rubber had it in black only and another place in burgundy.. no one else makes the stuff over here :( Can you help?
ill agree with everything you recommended except the techno track. This is a video the mk fans in particular will appreciate.. so this track must stay. Thanks again for help.
Yeah also a bit T2 fan (of the game and the movie) i have it on mame aswel but the two "protect the truck" levels suck ass with the regular joysticks and i remember the fine days of the T2 arcades from my childhood so i descided to buy a dedicated one :) its a great game to have and to play... really like revolution x aswel
please reply to this! when you put money in the machine will it actuely start working and people could play cuz i wanna get one and put it in a pizza place

Wow! Seriously impressed with this! I like the fact that there are no "bodges" or cut corners. The detail and effort is outstanding. Nice job.

just perfect, excellent job, the cabinet looks beautiful, by the way, do you have any blueprints?, i can only find bar tops cabinets prints.

Hey man Well done. But could you explain how you did the marquee? did you just rout the bottom piece and screw it to the machine?
simply awsome! I see you found a use for the x-arcade as well. Great vid Pete
good work.

Rapaz, isto é fantástico. Parabéns! Estou impressionado! Gostaria de saber se você construiria uma dessas para venda?
Beautiful cabinet .. 👍👍👍
Nice job. What launcher are you using by the way?
@ecotts running mame, and a nes emulator. thanks for the compliment
@pkingboys Yes as long as you hook the coin Mechs up correct!!! Its technically illegal though to charge for mame games... look up videos on youtube and google on how to do it. hope this helps
you can't get the supplies need to build a cabinet in Venezuela?
hey nice job on the cab......how much does it cost for the side decal?? and where did you get it?......if you can share.
@OnlineMontages ill take that as a compliment
The best arcade layout.
Did you make a template for this build? I want to build my own cabinet in the near future and I always loved the shape of the MK machines. Please let me know, Thanks
you wouldn't happen to have any measurements/plans for the cabinet, would you? im looking to build a cabinet myself.
I watched this video a year ago got inspired to make one myself. Turned out great too. Who did you buy your side art from?
Waiting for you to upload a video about it bro
Excellent job you've done there. Thanks for sharing!
Been watching this for years but what's the primer called that you put on MDF wood.
Nice work man. I just built my first and it was a lot of fun. It looks like you had a lot of fun too :)
Nice job man! Now, I'm also working on mine but I can't find the red vinyl or rubber tape... how is it called? how can I get this?
@CescoPisicoli well worth all the work though. send me a youtube video when you are done. Good luck on your project
hey i was wondering if you could send me ur plans for the cabinet id really like to build 1 like this because it looks like the MK3 cabinet
@jdcrispe95 It only took up 8 gigs. Not a bad computer I bought it refurbished for 120 from tigerdirect. 2years ago.

Hello ... I'm sorry spelling mistakes (I'm Brazilian) (google translator) you could post the outboard gear so I can print?
Diogo Vieira Oi amigo, conseguiu em algum lugar as medidas? Também estou em busca.
Are there plans online for this cabinet or did you just wing it as you went?
better than the original imo, well done.
@jasonbournetodie it take me too long to build them and I donthave alot of extra time anymore. if i could i would.
