    When you flop a set and bet out $250, you get callers and eventually scoop a $2400 pot. When I flop a set and bet $12, everybody folds, and I scoop $26. LOL

      This hand is why sometimes ranges can be an overrated way to get information. Some players ranges don't apply , Mariano in midstakes may be one of those players.

    • @schoolsucksalotx
      @schoolsucksalotx 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@itiswhatitis...9648 In poker, it's never always. Mariano will almost NEVER have a deuce here. The key word is almost, even the best players in the world will mix in hands like this to balance their opening/3b range. However, most of the time anyone with a deuce in their hand would fold to a 3B pre-flop which is why Mariano was able to get snapped off and make the max here.

    • @itiswhatitis...9648
      @itiswhatitis...9648 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@schoolsucksalotx another mistake his opponent made is not raising more, that would of possibly made Mariano fold, but again it's Mariano and he doesn't like to fold. Another point is I would guess Mariano feels confident calling any two against a player in position. He can most likely outplay him or put him to the test if he plays the board weak or if the board gets wet AF.

    • @indocrypto7368

      @@indocrypto7368 wow ur real classy dude...I guess he could also have 2,4 2,5 10,2 ... No shit but I think the point even if the guy doesn't play high stakes above and Mariano agrees is he got FN lucky...Mariano even said it before the flop he has 3 high... Most of the time he's lighting money on fire 🔥 and also what about the times when the other guy decides to open A2 suited and cushes him with his kicker..Or as you mentioned pocket 10's for a boat.. So yeah he got lucky here but most of the time making a call with 3,2 suited or 3,2 off is a losing play... Sure it's disguised when you flop trips and they are deuces but what happens when you flop a flush.. How many times at any stake have players got creative with say 4,5 suited even just to get crushed by a higher flush..

You're absolutely right - it's boring as hell, and I don't care how much money it's for. "Once the cards go on their back, the poker is over." At that point, we could just spin a roulette wheel and give each player the right number of slots. Poker is figuring out what to do when you bet your 15-out ace-high draw and get raised. *That's* interesting. Well, that and your drone and b-roll.

    Hey Mariano. Sometimes the trash turns into cash. Sometimes, I am fortunate enough to crack aces with junk. But whenever someone gets angry at me for doing that, I tell them that I once had my aces cracked with trey-deuce...and I had even flopped a set! Unfortunately for me the other two cards in that flop were a four and a five. The other guy had flopped a wheel. And this happened some years ago at the Hustler casino in L.A.

    Y'all ppl always bet TOO much on the river when you have it and make sure the opponent cant call the bet! (Not profitable in the long run)! Greedy much!?😁

    Amazing that people stop thinking about why someone would call the turn with KK on board then! They bet the river when a flush hits or a Q that could give a boat...I just don't get it. Irrational.

    Videos are always entertaining. Thanks for going to all these spots so we can see what’s up out there. If you’re ever in Sacramento to play poker, I’ll meet you at Thunder Valley casino. Albeit I’ll have to sucker you into the $1/$2. game since I play that level.

    Used to live in Southern California played there all the time, now in Arizona and play at Talking Stick. I really enjoy your vlogs, you cover just about everything with all the footage, great job. I have noticed that you are playing some bigger games now and you are running pretty good. Your my favorite. Would love to see you, Rampage and Brad play together, maybe at Texas Card House and have it streamed. That would be great.
