Great for casual games
These bases were purchased for playing fun ball games with family and friends at a local diamond. They are made of good quality, hard rubber and stand up to punishment well. After multiple uses this season they are still basically the same white as new (I just spray them off and have used a bit of soap a couple times when I was already washing the car). There are no tears or deep scratches so far.
We tried them once in the grass - the diamond was being used for a team practice - and they were still easy to see, but not as well as on the groomed infield.
These would be best for someone looking for a fun game, or a bit of practice. They can't be pegged down so I wouldn't use them for a more serious game as they can move around a bit.
