I was practicing the exercise as Brian talked through it. The exercise helped me realize I was afraid of suicidal thoughts. Those suicidal thoughts made me not trust my energy and intuition. Thankfully, I have done a lot of work on loving myself, having a mission, and being more confident. I feel like I couldn't access my sense of humor, because my fear prevented me from trusting my intuition and the first thought that comes to me. Thankfully, now that I am aware of this fear, I can work on releasing that fear specifically. I feel like that will help my sense of humor shine.
Gravity Denier Know my core desire behind all my challenges has been to connect with people on a deep level. Disassociate people's negative messages from my sense of inherent self worth. I used to see performance and acceptance as signs of my self worth. Which, now I see acceptance and performance as expressions of my unchanging self worth rather than an unstable definition of self worth. Knowing my core desire for deep connection helped me understand my pain, and understanding my pain made the problems I had, a lot more rational and practical... Currently I was struggling with sense of humor, because I see its importance for connecting with people. I just didn't know how to show my sense of humor. Somestimes when I welcome an emotion or sensation, and stay with it, I get this kind of weird reaction in my body, where its almost like a quick jolt or spasm in my chest, as if I just got a chill. Is this a sign that a release just happened, or is it somehow an escape from the feeling? Thanks
Hey Leo, I am guessing with your experience you've heard of Abnormal Reactions that take place when Releasing. My guess is it is a release. Personally, sometimes when I open my heart really wide it causes a cough. My goal is to stick with the sensation as long as possible without the cough happening in order to see where it leads me. Releasing can often help a lot with pain. Allow it, welcome it as much as you can, let go of your resistance to it, and ask your body to let bits of it go.

I highly doubt it. Smoking weed numbs a person out, which inhibits one's ability to feel their true emotions via a filtering effect. Much like alcohol and other drugs, your lower level emotions are filtered out allowing you to feel the upper level emotions. Landon, True Courage
Hey bro is catharsis is part of release of these emotions while in meditation? It is when intense energy gather up and travel upward towards the throat and tilt head backwards and feel tight pressure in the neck and with open jaw. It is like spasms in different part in the body.
Hi Sukhdeep, That sounds like it might be a physical symptom. Along with revealing and releasing, to be safe, maybe see a good doctor about it if there are problems or pain associated with it. Aside from medical attention, stay completely present with the energy and bring as much attention as possible without reacting to it. You can also experiment with moving around to release the energy. I was explaining when I become neutral towards these emotions and don’t consider them as good or bad, right or wrong, with an attention of without reward or punishment attitude and go deeper in the recess of the mind as witness observer, the moment pure observation hit the target ( emotion ) e - motion, it un reveals that blockage and sudden rush of intense energy start traveling upward from lower chakras and moment it hit the throat it moves the neck backward involuntary and open the mouth wide. How do you know how much to feel and when to let it all go? Do you have to feel as much as you can and then let it go? Or let go as soon as you feel something and just continue the process as long as you’re still feeling something?
This content is life changing! Here is a recipe I used it with you won't hear anywhere else: Find a good massage therapist, one you know can deliver a great 90 min body release experience. Take .25 grams of Psylocibyn (microdose) right before the session. As the session begins and your body starts to relax find the emotion/problem you are working on and allow the emotion to arrive completely, as the medicine comes in and the massage releases tension in your body you can go deeper and deeper into welcoming the emotion fully and then letting it go as you let go of the tension in your body released by the massage simultaneously. The massage setting forces you to be in your body, the medicine opens your heart for the healing wisdom to do the magic, drop the story and allow the body to cleanse itself from whatever you have been carrying. I did this exact formula and as the medicine was in full effect and massage was 70 min I have witnessed the great sky open over my whole being and the box I used to live in was gone. I dont understand what exactly hes wanting the guy to do like "letting it go" I dont understand how its done. I mean hes sitting there listening to him. Imagining a straw sticking out of of my neck just seems painful and uncomfortable lol i cant quite grasp what you are to do. I know when dealing with my breakup when my girlfriend cheated on me and my dad was dieing my neck muscles right under my jaw where he points down to my collar bone were sooo sore and i couldn't figure out why! not a real straw, imagine a straw made of energy, the same way all those negative feelings are energy, then as you breathe out, imagine the negative energy leaving through the straw... maybe google Sedona method, that is where these exercises are drawn from.

Hi Brian! Say you want to go to meet someone that you find attractive but you end up having the emotions you describe, maybe it's anxiety or basically any form that the fear will take. Doesn't that fear show instantly and will make her push away from you? Also , what would you do if when you're walking towards the girl you would identify this feeling getting stronger and stronger (which will probably happen in any situation for someone who hasn't done this work before)? I dont understand what exactly hes wanting the guy to do like "letting it go" I dont understand how its done. I mean hes sitting there listening to him. Imagining a straw sticking out of of my neck just seems painful and uncomfortable lol i cant quite grasp what you are to do. I know when dealing with my breakup when my girlfriend cheated on me and my dad was dieing my neck muscles right under my jaw where he points down to my collar bone were sooo sore and i couldn't figure out why! Wish i knew whats going on here..
not a real straw, imagine a straw made of energy, the same way all those negative feelings are energy, then as you breathe out, imagine the negative energy leaving through the straw...

Hi Brian! Say you want to go to meet someone that you find attractive but you end up having the emotions you describe, maybe it's anxiety or basically any form that the fear will take. Doesn't that fear show instantly and will make her push away from you? Also , what would you do if when you're walking towards the girl you would identify this feeling getting stronger and stronger (which will probably happen in any situation for someone who hasn't done this work before)? Would you stay and release the feeling or just push through it?

I think we need explore the very instrument which strengthens and fortify these feeling. Releasing constant and adding up new in the bucket doesn’t make sense. As I see the mind is the source of this chaos and awareness dismantle it.
