Just subed love your insight in van life. You are an inspiration for people wanting to take the plunge, just bought an E and can’t wait to get on the road. Hope to meet up some day.
Regarding your after-hike shower problem: here's what I do. I have two spray bottles from the hardware store or farm/feed store - these bottles are sturdy and have and adjustable stream and strong spray. I put Dr Bronner's soap with water in to one, and plain water in the other. I spray down with the soap and wipe down with a bandanna or wash cloth, then repeat until clean enough to use the plain water spray to rinse off. (I'm a runner so this works for me when I'm camping and can't shower)
Im enjoying the videos man, I just picked up an element myself and planning to do similar things so cool to see someone else starting vanlife at the same time lol. About your shower issue, remember that truck stops also have showers! Also I know some people use the yakima roadshower or whatever, it mounts on the roof racks.
I’ve lost lug nuts as well, I had two left when I got home. I felt like such an idiot cuz I only looked at one side when I stopped to check. And btw you jack up a car and try to move a wheel top to bottom and side to side to check for stuff like tie rods.
