Have thought about getting one of those ages ago, never got around to it..One day I might just do it...I would recommened that you have a stand to try these things out, I was watching your arm getting closer to that back wheel
It's very affordable so i thought I'd try this system out as brushless motors are fairly silent so adds a bit of engine noise like a nitro truck does in a sense, cheers for watching mate
I got one of these bro and they are great but I put mine in my JLB CHEETAH and crash it and broke mine 😭 ill have to get another one 👍great review and a great test . Keep safe and Well my good Freind 👍😊👍🥰👍
Cheers Tony, this pirates 2 is very quiet compared to other brushless trucks I have so I thought I'd try this unit out, pretty pleased with it for the price, thanks Buddy👍🍻
Had one of these on a toy grade RC car about 20 years ago. Nice review but not for me. Seems like it would be perfect for kids. I remember reviews of the 6S bushmaster having one of these, which seemed a bit pointless and I would probably along with what others actually dois remove it to remove straight away removing any unnecessary weight. For me a sound of the vechile should represent what is actuallly happening, not only is it more natural but any fualts such as by gears slipping can be picked up easier.
Great review my friend. I have the original version of this and it's very high viewership, in my top 10 most watched videos on my channel. Hope you have the same success! When I did my demo i unplugged the motor wires so you don't have the wheels spinning! lol. it works well but you need a shell or chassis large enough to accomodate all this equipment. I found the shortcourse trucks work best, I think that is the advantage of the single speaker, you can fit it in to more RCs. cheers!!
Cheers for watching Mike, yeah you need the space for this 2 speaker version so I purposely bought it for this pirates 2 monster truck and installed it under the shell, works well i really like this unit, I just uploaded the running video last night on my channel, sounds awesome! 👍🍻
Thanks David, I always wanted to have one of these sound effect units so thought I'd buy one and share, cheers for watching my friend and have a good day 👍🍻
This is really cool. I've been thinking about picking up one of these for a while. It sounds so awesome though the brake sound had me laughing. Awesome vid David!
Yeah its a pretty decent sound unit on a budget Ryan and yep i couldnt help but laugh at the brake screech as well lol. I hardly use the brake when bashing trucks though, i just let go of the throttle for turns
Yeah exactly Steve, bit of fun having sound effects thats why i thought I'd buy one of these units to see what they are like, been meaning to buy one for a while now, cheers brother 👍🍻
Cheers Michael, been meaning to buy one of these sound units for ages, so this one is at a great price i had to try it out, with 10 different sound clips it can go in many different applications, thanks for watching bro 👍🍻
Not sure Martin as I never had that issue, maybe the receiver ain't picking up the throttle increase properly to relay back to the sound unit, have you tried on another RC?
@@PERTHWESTOZRC Found the fix, simple really .. 1st reverse the throttle setting switch on your radio. 2nd If its a brushed motor then physically reverse the wires from your esc to the motor. Such as black to red, red to black. If brushless then enter the programming mode of the esc and reverse the esc. This will keep the truck running forward when applying forward input from the radio. This should have you all fixed up
@@josealeixo2854 Actually sorry i got this sound system mixed up with the GT Power one i reviewed, this one i don't think you can add sounds, thanks for watching Jose and have a good day bro
Nobody explained this a lot clearer than you do. I like the way how clear and simple the explanation is. Very Good.👍
Thanks very much Elmer, appreciate your comment and watching this video

@@PERTHWESTOZRC That's what I'm thinking and since I don't really bash that vehicle around I wouldn't worry about ruining the speakers. :D
