Good morning Dennis. Interesting history of that area. I hope we can improve the environment for the Monarchs 🦋🦋🦋. I like seeing them. I think that the draught is partially to blame. Thank you for the great video.👍👍
Well said friend. It's amazing how our big big lives rely on little things like bees and butterflies. Everything is there for a reason. Except politicians.
Great views! I do like to see the butterflies. Birds are being blessed too! Roads with canopies are the neatest. Gators and big foot, ok! 😉😉 Pretty poppy! Nice history of the causeway. Thank you Dennis!
Morning Dennis. We don’t have White prickly poppy in Florida! We do have Cherokee bean . Back to work today on my dilapidated floating dock .😬 Thanks for sharing Dennis.
Hey Debbie. Of course I went to read that sign on the bridge at the perfect time of day so that the sun would be reflecting off of it. Great timing on my part. One of these days that gator call is going to work! Thanks for checking out the video friend.
Good morning Dennis, another great video my friend. Dont touch Texas dirt, thats high dollar stuff. Ive seen people out at gravel piles loading up their pickup. You had a beautiful day going for you in this one. Thank you for all that you do for us
Good morning friend. It was a really good day. Later last night the wind get up in the 30s and it started raining but at least we had some sunshine. I hope you're doing well today friend.
Thanks for the video use to live in Port A miss the sea worked as a prep cook at hooks and pelicans landing in the 90s live in cheokee village arkansas watch your videos alot keep up the good work sharon from arkansas.
Good evening Dennis!! Now that is a gorgeous place for a nap 😴 good choice 🙌🏼 boy that was some beautiful filming my friend, that bridge and those live oaks were AMAZING! Ohhhh ok it’s white prickly poppy 👏🙌🏼🤍 that’s a beauty too!!! Very cool history of Copano Bay bridge too, very interesting!! Hope you don’t come across any gators 🐊 today my friend !! Awesome ride along 🐝♥️🌻
Good morning friend. Thank you very much for checking out the video. I had no idea what those white flowers were called. I like how the stems were booby trapped! Thanks for your kind words. I hope you guys had a good day
@@dennis78382 hahahaha it did look a tad aggressive with those spikes 😆 my David Austin roses are like that, when I harvest them it’s a nightmare & I have to hold them with a tea towel!! Hard work to strip the stems too. Every days a school day in the class room of life, that was good to learn what they were , I truly appreciate ya taking the time to follow that up ☺️ I hope you’ve had a wonderful day too my friend, I’m just about to watch your video with a coffee!!! 🌻🌷🌻
good morning Dennis another great video and great knowledge about the surrounding area and yes it is really nice to find a bench by the river lake or Ocean or Pond just to sit at and daydream or just enjoy nature in itself👍👍
Good morning Mike. Thanks for the kind words. I love finding benches along the bays here. There's quite a few with Rockport Beach as well. Great spots to read or pray. Have yourself a wonderful day and thanks again for checking out the video.
Hi Dennis, It's been a while since I've been to Copano Bay. At the beginning of your video, there was some fisherman sitting at a covered table fishing, as a handicap fisherman, this look like a good spot to visit. what side of the bridge is this park located? Always enjoy your videos. :-)
Good morning Jim. If you're headed out of Rockport towards Lamar you would you veer off to the left just before crossing the causeway. It's an area they have added in the last few years. Perfect for a disabled person. Especially if someone can drop you off. It wouldn't be a long walk to the tables.
Hey Jim. There are several disabled people who watch my channel. I'm aware of it because I can walk but short distances. I'm not a fisherman but I try to be aware of a good spot.
It's kind of hard to get a good look at the white flowers but I think they are a white thistle. There are different types of thistles. That last flower was a white prickly I believe it's in the thistle family. I miss that pier.
Thank you for the video, Dennis. As always, I look forward to your videos in the afternoons while I crochet. I sit in the backyard in the shade as I watch and listen, but it feels as though I'm riding along in your truck. Lol! Take care, friend.
Belated good morning Dennis! I see my cats didn't watch this for me, so I had to do it myself while having dinner. Lots of mountains, tunnels, and railroad tracks for sure here in PA. Spent most of my day enjoying those aspects of our state. I did not catch Bigfoot, but I did catch something much more rare and elusive. Glad you're enjoying some new sleeping spots out there, and that was a cool history on the bridge and the fishing pier.
Wow, the footage of the tree tunnel felt like seeing the trees glide by overhead when you canoe through a bayou. There is an ongoing discussion in my household about bays and "back bays'. My perception is that Copano Bay is a "back bay" , as is Mission Bay. The topic came up in Oregon and I had to wait till we got to Texas to show these examples. Have you ever heard that term used? I know I picked it up in Texas. Not many back bays in the Midwest. 🙂
Well Aransas bay is off of the Gulf of Mexico behind the barrier islands and then Copano Bay is off of Aransas Bay so I would consider it a fourth and fifth Coast Back Bay. That's just my opinion. Thank you so much for checking out the videos. I don't even wanna tell you that Port Bay is off of Copano Bay. 😀🇺🇸👍
thank you for sharing your time @Dennis, have a great day 🙏
Thank you very much Brian. I hope you're having yourself a wonderful day.
i love the blessing box. what a great idea.
Good morning. It really is wonderful. A true blessing.
Beautiful scenic drive ❤😊
Thank you friend. I really appreciate that.
I miss hearing the music to “Rrrroll my intro!” That always gives me a lift.
Hey Michael. You know I started to add it to this video and I realized it would cover up the sound of the waves. I'll have to get back on the horse.
Thanks Dennis. 😊 I love Rockport and look forward to your videos every day.
Thank you Michael.
