I think this is the only video that really explains it very well. Throughout my experience I had S105G Korean and S21 Japanese version. They are not bad at all but I get network issues and I can't use Samsung pay.

I have the Korean S22 Ultra that I am using in the US and this video confirmed all of my suspicions, so thank you very much for that! I just wanted to note that even though the 5G bar shows up on my Korean S22U in the US, its speeds for both 5G and LTE are extremely terrible compared to any phone made for the US.

Now will samsung pay and other payment apps work on middle East version and get all features of UAE version except for warranty. Please advice. Thank you.

Vietnam is better, always go for the local version where you live
U1 are US Unlocked. But you might not be able to access 5G on your country since it's antenna is for 5G US carrier. Better get the Korean or hongkong model which supports 5G mm waveband mostly anywhere and has the best snapdragon processor

Yes, as they are not designed for all the cellular bands for Uae region except for TDRA version, also Samsung pay won’t work here. Samsung might push an update in the future to fix the wallet issue. Second option is to root device and install custom rom which is not convenient for everyone

Software wise, yes, there are differences and network connectivity wise. There are minor differences depending on different network bands supporting the devices in different regions
