Yep. First playthrough I was too nice. I didn’t shoot Nick, didn’t interrupt Laura, and didn’t take the silver shells from Emma in the cabin, and since I didn’t take that one stupid stuffed animal, I got both Kaitlyn and Dylan killed.
Oh for sure. My first play through was going pretty well and then Laura, Travis, and Ryan all died because I didn’t know if the werewolf Ryan was aiming at was Laura or Chris (since Laura had just turned seconds before), so I didn’t shoot and ofc it turned out to be Chris.
@@brayerkh Me and my mom had a similar problem. Everything went well, until my mother forgot whoch button was shooting(She didn't do the shooting tutorial, I did and she never really got a chance to shoot since I was the one playing the characters with guns). I saw a video where if Dylan and Emma are both infected and if you don't shoot emma after abi is safe Dylan jumps in front of Kaitlyn twice to protect her reason why Dylan is my favorite character
I love the scrapyard sequence the most in the game. Dylan's smart quick thinking, Kaitlyn's bravery and that metal music blasting, I got so excited when Dylan sees the motion activated lights come on one after another indicating that a werewolf is approaching...
Such a shame you can't save Chris and Kaylee An extremely hidden super-secret ending where only Silus has to die and everyone else gets to live would've been awesome
Glad to see Caleb live, but kinda tragic he lost both his Father and Sister from the whole thing. Plus he was the first Hackett to get infected so that probably really eats away at him😢

@@vanivan25 The death by fire was an accident though, a distraction gone terribly wrong because they didn't realize how fast hay can burn and spread the fire. As for them being outside during the full moon, sure, more precaution could've been taken, but honestly, the counselors were supposed to be long gone by the time they transformed. Basically, nothing bad would've happened if Laura had just gone to the hotel, and Jacob hadn't sabotaged the van. @@SeraphimxSins did they feel any remorse after doing the fire? In fact they felt it's just annoying to be hiding during the full moon. In fact, they secretly murder people who knows their furry secret (hence the missing hikers)
The only inconsistent thing in this version of the story is that Abi was infected before everyone besides Nick, she should've transformed way before Dylan, Emma, or Jacob. This seems like a huge oversight on how fast the infection works unless it was actually Kaylee who bit Abi which I think is what actually happened.

Oh hey it only took me watching multiple playthroughs and now this video to figure out that “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” is telling you that letting people get bitten but successfully fending off getting killed by the same attack can help them survive until the curse is lifted at the very end!
I feel like this is the best storyline since it's actually give Laura and Ryan purpose for agreeing to end the curse otherwise it's just them solving the Hackett's problem without anything in return
as much as I love the badass showdown with Kaitlyn shooting Caleb using the bullets Emma and Abi gave her, I agree that this has more payoff and makes more sense, narrative wise
I just finished the game for the first time and stumbled onto this comment and realized that for me it was even more pointless... I killed all the hacketts except for Travis, and since Silas only bit Caleb (who Kaitlyn shot) and Dylan (who didnt get infected cuz hand amputated) killing Silas literally achieved nothing except for doing Travis the favor of getting revenge for his family
Note: If Dylan is not infected, you must fail the QTE during the beam section as Kaitlyn ( she must be infected ) to end the chase and Dylan survives along with Caleb
@@unknownlight927 which is true, again the most impactful choices are in the kitchen. Again Kaitlyn infection is the most important role to avoid Death Tarot Card but Silas must die either way.
If Kaitlyn is infected and Dylan isn't you can have Kaitlyn and Caleb end up in the freezer and Dylan will open the freezer in the morning saving Caleb from freeze to death if the curse is lifted
"Travis survived the encounter with Silas and finally saw an end to the curse that hunted his family for six years" i dont know why i shudder every time i read this
out of everyone i think travis suffered the most, he had so much pressure put on him to cover up deaths and protect his family 😕 he was the only normal one too, neither a hunter nor a werewolf (from what i've seen)
Everyone become aggressive before they turning. They can't control their anger and screaming and they hurts they own friend but Dylan is completely different, he use he's anger to make Katylen run away from him
This format and editing is super good! And it's cool how you gotta get all the teens infected to save them all in the end of this route. Thanks for making this
Thanks for the video. Finally... I skimmed through many videos labelled with 'best choices' & many characters still got killed. Your video is quite detailed, really appreciate the effort you put into this! 👍🏻
@@magosiaswioka5245 Yep, if Emma and Abi break into the room to get their bags and retrieve the bunny thing it can later be used by Kait as a distraction where she throws it in the freezer, he chases it and then she locks him in.
Now I know why Abi can be killed by Nick, Laura by killing Kaylee lifted Abi's werewolf curse, and Nick was bitten by Caleb who is only killed later in the game :)
As a way to get an extra trophy “Just a Flesh Wound”, amputate Dylan’s arm, then to get him infected again (so he can survive the lodge) you don’t shoot werewolf Emma when she is on the car and Dylan will get bit, then shoot Emma so Dylan can survive the encounter
this sequence of events is so fucking funny to me. mans gets bit by a werewolf, gets his hand sawed off and treated with what's likely a very dodgy/rudimentary first aid kit, gets bitten _again_ and then doesnt even stay infected long enough to get his hand back. "rough night" is a bit of an understatement
@glasspheonix ik there is a huge plothole with the whole healing/death resistance aspect, bc if Jacob is bit and falls face first into a trap he doesn’t die but Ryan dies to a shotgun butt to the head even after being bit
the problem with this ending is that the hackett family hates the counselors for killing their haylee AND chris. With Travis being the resident officer, the family uses his influence to have the counselors charged with all of the murders. Which is why you get that news article in the end. Idk if you collected all of the evidence and if that would change things but as it stands, this is still a bad ending.
Which Kaylee being killed I can understand being pissed about, especially since she was a child, but killing Chris literally saved everyone there (pretty sure shooting Laura or missing only gets Ryan killed, but it can be seen as saving all of them). Considering Chris was actively attacking everyone kinda bs that they're mad at the counselors for that. I blame the Hackett's for all staying in their home with Chris in it🤬
He collected all evidence, he even highlighted it in this video and their locations. This was best possible ending, most ppl alive and hackett family imprisoned
The post game podcast will have the hosts going through all the evidence, deeming that the counselors are innocent and turning the evidence into the police where the headline will change clearing the charges (the evidence exposes the Hacketts massive cover up of the whole story which supports your idea that the teens are unjustly charged with murder)
I legitimately didn't even know Jacob and Emma COULD meet again. If I didn't have to go through the whole damn game to do it I'd fiddle around with that and see how the scenes could play out infected or not, hopefully someone will upload it.
I think what they could’ve done is let you replay a chapter, and when a path is chosen or updated, you can go to the chapter that was effected and choose what events you want to have happened before, and what scene you want to play out.
Yeah this should be the best ending, cause no matter what you choose in the path you must kill Chris in order to kill silas while Constance, Jedediah Bobby and Caleb can survive if Ryan does not stab Bobby while Laura does not resist Constance in the struggle for the gun by force, and lastly make Caitlyn and Dylan both infected before they facing the final encounter with Caleb
I've seen playthroughs, where you can save Caleb without having Kaitlyn or Dylan be infected by tricking him into the kitchen freezer room. But from what I've seen, it's way harder to pull that off.
Just a few bits of false information/inconsistencies in here: 1. Yes, Abi CAN be infected, but the reason that she never turns even though she was bit around the same time as Nick is because KAYLEE is the one who bit her. The reason she never experiences symptoms, however, is an error on the games part. Nick, however, was bit by Caleb. 2. The wolf that Emma can be bit by in Chapter 6 is NOT the same wolf was the one that chases her in Chapter 4. She's on the island in Chapter 4 being chased by Max. In Chapter 6, she is no longer on the island. The wolf that can bite her in Ch. 6 is actually Caleb. 3. If you don't infect Dylan in Chapter 5 at the radio hut, you have 2 other times to do so! As long as Emma is infected in Chapter 4 and turns in the car in Chapter 8, Dylan can be bitten and infected by her (however, by the time the chase sequence with Caleb in Chapter 10 comes around, he will be cured as you've killed Chris). He can also be bitten by Silas at the scrapyard in Chapter 9, but he must still have both hands (this would require a failed QTE at the scrapyard (the dodge QTE not the light the flamethrower QTE) and Abi & Emma not to break into the cabin in Chapter 1). Both the Chapter 8 and Chapter 9 bites allow him to not completely turn and simply be infected for the remainder of the gameplay (or until Chris dies in the case of the Chapter 8 bite). If he gets bitten and remains infected in Chapter 5, he will turn into a werewolf at the end of the scrapyard sequence. **EDIT:** I have solid proof that the wolf who appears in the scrapyard is in fact Silas, not Caleb. Watch any playthrough where Kaitlyn goes to the scrapyard alone and the shipping container falls on her and kills her. It will show a close up scene of the wolf pinned under the container next to her body. The wolf clearly has bright red eyes. None of the other wolves have red eyes other than Silas, due to him being albino. The rest of the wolves have either milky colored or black eyes. Additionally, I have a theory as to why it can't be Silas appearing in any of the scenes people say he does (except for at the cabins in chapter 5 when Dylan gets bit and the scrapyard in chapter 9). All the evidence revolves around one specific person - Travis. In any playthrough where you make it to the end with Travis, Laura, and Ryan all alive, Travis will mention Silas the White Wolf and Ryan will confirm that he saw the White Wolf at the cabins earlier in the night, referring to the events of Chapter 5. Travis seems surprised to hear that Silas is in fact around. In the most popular scenes where players think Silas appears (attacking Emma in chapter 6, attacking Nick in chapter 3) the hunters (Jedediah and Bobby) are also in the scene and shoot at the wolf before it can kill the teen it is attacking. Notice shoot at the wolf, but never to kill. These people have specifically been looking for Silas for 6 whole years, it would stand to reason that if they even saw a glimpse of what looked like Silas (I would assume they'd be able to tell apart Silas and the other wolves, not only because of familiarity and not wanting to kill their own family members, but also because of Silas' albinism) that information would immediately be spread to the rest of the family in order to more efficiently hunt him down. Yet Travis doesn't know that Silas is still in the area. As such, Silas can only have appeared during scenes where the Hackett family are not present and the teens are the only ones witnessing it (like the scrapyard and the cabins). Of course, having the Hacketts not spread this information of seeing Silas amongst themselves could also have been a writing mishap on the creators' fault (a very big mishap, as the Hacketts are supposed to be doing everything they can to hunt down Silas, so that course of action seems out of character for them).
Thank you, fully agree with your first point. For 2: On my last playthrough I found out that in chapter 6 it wasn't the same wolf that bit Emma in chapter 4, you are correct. However, I got bitten in Chapter 6 on that playthrough. Since I ended up killing Caleb and Emma was still infected, it must have been Silas. So it seems like one infection doesn't overwrite itself with another. 3: Incidentally, in Chapter 9 at the Junkyard, it's Caleb, since Kaitlyn herself (who was bitten at the Junkyard) was no longer infected after killing Caleb. But as already mentioned several times, it is also possible that there are minor errors in the game regarding this topic and that the infections cannot be completely clarified.
@@emdeeee the more I see different playthroughs of this game, the more confusing it gets. Some people are reporting that if you kill Laura and let Chris live, but kill Caleb later, Max and Chris are still infected (even if they shouldn't be). I think Supermassive just majorly fucked up their own storyline. They don't even know who bit who lmao
If you're going through all the trouble to infect Dylan just to save him at the end, there's no need. You only need infected Kaitlyn by failing scrapyard QTE, then in the final sequence with Caleb, take the beams route then fail the QTE. Caleb will leave Kaitlyn alone and Dylan will survive as well.

@@tjwilkerson2589 well yes. But actually no. They could've stayed inside to, the Hackett family could've done a better job at containing those that got infected also.
The Hacketts shouldn't have been running a summer camp full of kids and teens when they are werewolves actually... (also staying inside would not have helped, Caleb busts in through the chimney and Chris staying behind would've been worse).
Note: Both Dylan and Emma have an early and a late infection and changes the time when they transform in the timeline. Dylan early infection (chapter 5) -> transfoms after scrapyard event. Dylan late infection (chapter 8) -> never transforms, can be spared by caleb Emma early infection (chapter 4) -> transforms inside the car, can be saved if jacob picked up the silver wrist (only necessary if jacob also infected) requires not shooting silver shell Emma late infection (chapter 6) -> transforms in the basement with/without Abigail, she just stay there if u pick this choice
@@wirosableng5480 You have to cut off his hand when he gets infected at the radio shack. As Kaitlyn, if you don't shoot Emma when she's on top of the car. Then she'll bite Dylan's other hand LOL
I personally like this route because it gives a more urgent feeling because you have a timer to end the curse soon or everyone falls to the werewolves.
This is the closest you seem to be able to get in a best case scenario where all PREVENTABLE deaths don't happen so the only casualties are neccessary ones similar to Until dawn losing Hannah, Beth, the stranger and Josh are unavoidable deaths/losses Wish there was a way to just immedieately go after Silus but the only way i'd see that possible would involve an ending in which if Laura is compliant with Travis, he trusts her enough to let her join the hunting party in which they just go straight to the Ruins, Yes that would premptively end the game but that's a small price to pay for an ending that isn't bittersweet
I knew immediately that Kaylee was a story death (you get 0 option to do anything to save her), knew once Silas was more revealed he 100% needed to die to save everyone infected, and was pretty sure Chris had to be killed to save most, at least everyone in the house since he's right there. Poor Kaylee and Chris though. Kaylee just wanted to help Silas and in the end she and her father die from the eventual events of that choice. Constance Hackett is just awful about it and then her husband Jedediah and son Bobby are full complicit in it. Least Travis isn't fully on board and tries to keep things right like trying to get Laura and Max to go to the motel in the Prologue. So other than Constance, and likely Jedediah, the Hacketts aren't horrible seeming people. Chris runs a summer camp, Kaylee and Caleb help with it, Travis is a police officer. Bobby just seems to have been too coddled over time or has a slight mental issue preventing things somehow. Constance wants everything covered up and Jedediah seems to be 100% on board and actively hunts Silas at least. Chris helps but is less active due to the infection, so surveillance is done by him, a set it and forget it style of helping really. So because of Kaylee's good hearted nature in wanting to free Silas and then Jacob wanting one more night to try to convince Emma they should stay together all of these things happen/could happen. Most times this wouldn't occur XD Jacob would've been called some manner of insults by everyone and Kaylee maybe could've had a change of heart or gained more information before freeing Silas like talking to Eliza (his mother, the Tarot Lady, Head Person for Harum Scarum traveling Freak Show, and Hag of Hackett's Quarry). Eliza seems like she didn't like to do that to Silas and likely kept him uncaged outside of the full moons since she was so distraught about his possible death.
From my understanding, Eliza kept her son, Silas, in the cage and arrive at The Hacket's Quarry before the night. *Kaylee sees Silas's human forms* and she likely doesn't know Silas was a werewolf (though it clearly says "Silas the dog-boy"). That's why she has the idea to break him out off the cage.
7:42 Note: Here Abi is no longer infected, beacuse she was bitten by Kaylee, who already died by that time, and that would explain why she never turns into a werewolf no matter what.
The fireworks only apply to one event. If you have them when you run into the hunters as Emma, you can use them to avoid being bit if you run. However, if you don't run, you don't get bit anyway, so it's pointless. Oh, also Dylan can get bit later by Emma (fail to shoot Emma with any type of shell, then shoot her when she attacks Dylan) or Caleb in the junkyard (horn, successfully use the torch, fail QTE AFTER flaming him). This means he appears in the lodge too, and survives due to his infection. However, I think he's still killed if you don't run on the stairwell, so you gotta run to the area before the kitchen or the kitchen itself. Caleb won't kill either if you fail from here on.
I guess in Chapter 6, since Abi is already cured via Kaylee dying, you do have to shoot Nick at the showers. And Max is still on the island, so whoever bit Emma again wasn't him. It was probably Nick, since he was captured by the Hacketts later. Cool play through, man. Good job getting these exact options!
Its Amazing that after playing the game, the thing that concers many players is the fate of innocent Chris, Kaylee, Caleb, Silas (who are all just victims of the curse and not evil, they are all kind-hearted and help people in need). I was very sorry when i killed Silas (i knew i had to , cause the curse must end) and i was actually happy Caleb survived my first playthrough, even though Kaitlyn died cause i missed with the silver bullet. But still.... i was happy when i saw boy Caleb alive and well at the end.
In the final chapter, Travis claims that “of course“ he knows where Silas is hiding. (I know that revisiting the circus fire was new to Travis, but I thought they hunted Silas every full moon for six years?) If he knew “of course,“ why not post at the circus fire every full moon?
8:16 it says in the wiki that this werewolf is Caleb, also Max is on the island If Emma is bitten first by Max she transforms in the van, if she is bitten first by Caleb she transforms in the basement
Sucks that there *is* an ending in the game that leads to Chris's suvival and cure, but because he *HAS* to die to get access to Silas, the only other werewolf in the lineage that can die is Caleb, so if Chris is cured, it assumes Silas survives in any and all outcomes that involve Chris living, and Caleb dying, which I think cures *most* curses, but not all of them.
killing Caleb cures everyone except Silas. Chris can live still infected if you don't shoot him as Ryan but Ryan and Travis will die. You wouldn't get to Silas in this ending
Wouldn't that be the best ending considering the curse was kinda self inflicted on the Hackets and Silas never really seems to be a danger? + the scene with the granny when you get the hierophant card is kinda heartbreaking.
If you don't get Emma infected by Max but instead flee from the hunters in the woods she will be infected and turn in the bunker with Abi. Just don't break the ladder into the bunker When Dylan and Ryan are in Chris' office. Actually, makes it so you don't need Emma's bracelet to save Emma from Jacob.
This music at the end feels more fitting. Even for the best ending. Because Chris and Kaylee still died when they didn’t deserve it, this isn’t something to celebrate. The music is melancholic. As it should be.
I believe if you take the fireworks, Emma uses them later in the night when she is cornered by Jedediah and Bobby. If you choose to run as Emma, she will be caught by the werewolf. If you left the fireworks, she gets infected and escapes. If you take the fireworks, she can use them to defend herself against the werewolf.
Wow it's cool to see a play through where Emma opens the trapdoor and actually lives. I've only seen ones where she gets torn to shreds or just avoids it completely. I love to see the different choices and the impact they have.
Thats for this video. This is the best ending so far. I didn't realize that you can save Caleb without killing single counselor. Every other video that said "Everybody survive" or "Best Ending" is basically only save all counselor but kill every other Hackett family except Travis
everyone else before they turn: augh my insecurities! fuck everybody i hate you all! kill kill maim kill bite kill dylan before he turns: *I AM VERY AGGRESSIVELY TELLING YOU TO SAVE YOURSELF*
So...within the logic of the game it's not necessary to kill any other wolf apart from Silas? I mean, I get that Kaylee and her dad have to die for the story to progress, but if we had more options we could cure everyone by killing Silas?
Yeah, within the logic of the game killing Silas should trigger a chain reaction that cures every werewolf. I do hope they add an update that lets you survive the Hackett house encounter without killing Chris, he seemed like a nice dude.
@@yassin9782 that doesn’t make sense. Why would you need to kill Chris to kill Silas? Silas started it it all. Killing him would set off a chain reaction of healing everyone who has become infected
@@HH-yq6ch You need Laura to kill Silas, if you let Chris live, Laura will turn into a werewolf. Laura also is essential to the last chapter. Basically, Laura is the only playeable character that can kill Silas.
@@HH-yq6ch I saw some endings that if you let Chris alive, Laura would attack Travis in werewolf form, she scratched Travis' head but also got stabbed by a silver-made mirror, both would die and you couldn't trigger the story of Cilas.
Nice... Every ending I have seen has Emma ending safely in the surveillance room with Abby. Nice twist. Must be like 20 different ending and outcomes for this story. Very well developed game.
I wish there was a secret ending that leaves all 9 counsellors alive but infected. It's weird to have 6 of the counsellors able to be still infected in the end of the game but 3 of them cannot. Also, it seems that it is impossible to kill Travis without killing Laura or Ryan, preventing an ending with all the Hacketts killed but all 9 counsellors alive. On the contrary, having able to save Chris and Kaylee could lead to the opposite ending of all Hacketts survived (and possibly kill Silas) but all 9 counsellors dead. Just some unique combinations I wish possible for some unique ending scenarios.
You can kill Travis without killing Laura and Ryan actually. You just have to be good for him till the end. As soon as you find Silas you cannot aim at Silas as Laura, it's gonna trigger Travis that is gonna try to take the gun from you, there's QTE to pretend it and you just need to miss it. This way Laura will accidentally shoot Travis. After that you can shoot Silas and kill him as well. So that way everyone survived and Travis got killed. So it's possible to actually get the achievement "Rough Night" and "Family Matters" in one playthrough ^^
I think the fireworks are only used for when Emma is trying to escape bobby and the old man. She can throw the firework at them to distract the werewolf to escape unharmed.
Great guide just a few notes: While Katylin shooting section in chapter 8 is the hardest of the whole game even with assists on, it's also save scummable, after you shoot if you don't get the cut scene of Emma wolf being knocked, Immediately press start and quit to main menu, you'll be rebooted to the shooting part. This run can be done with the Kill all Hackets run, you need to find the silver shells as Abi in ch9 bunker sequence then as Kaitylin: Shoot, Run, Beam, mashQTE, Investigate, shoot Caleb. in the final sequence refuse to raise the gun at Silas interrupt with Laura, then fail the QTE, this will get Travis killed , after that choose shoot to kill silas
Some stuff in this game, like the amount of different unpredictable outcomes or certain scenes like when the light turns on in the scrapyard are freakin awesome. Others tho... many cutscenes are really awkward, with characters often just standing and watching as the others performs intense action, or making completely unreasonable decisions, and let's not talk about how rushed the ending was.
why didn't the hackett fam chain up caleb and kaylee like they did chris? i'm sure they can't contribute to searching for silas in their werewolf form anyway so it would've been best to either chain them up or lock them down in that cell they had...

Yep. First playthrough I was too nice. I didn’t shoot Nick, didn’t interrupt Laura, and didn’t take the silver shells from Emma in the cabin, and since I didn’t take that one stupid stuffed animal, I got both Kaitlyn and Dylan killed.

@@SeraphimxSins did they feel any remorse after doing the fire? In fact they felt it's just annoying to be hiding during the full moon. The only inconsistent thing in this version of the story is that Abi was infected before everyone besides Nick, she should've transformed way before Dylan, Emma, or Jacob.

@@markberry9401 oh shit for real? i didnt know about the jacob thing
the problem with this ending is that the hackett family hates the counselors for killing their haylee AND chris. With Travis being the resident officer, the family uses his influence to have the counselors charged with all of the murders. Which is why you get that news article in the end. Idk if you collected all of the evidence and if that would change things but as it stands, this is still a bad ending.
I believe at the end of the podcast after they look through the evidence, the articles title changes and states that all the counselors were cleared.
@@rileysullivan4123 bit weird that they had the werewolf cages in the basement yet they Locked Chris in the Attic
The post game podcast will have the hosts going through all the evidence, deeming that the counselors are innocent and turning the evidence into the police where the headline will change clearing the charges
(the evidence exposes the Hacketts massive cover up of the whole story which supports your idea that the teens are unjustly charged with murder)
I legitimately didn't even know Jacob and Emma COULD meet again. If I didn't have to go through the whole damn game to do it I'd fiddle around with that and see how the scenes could play out infected or not, hopefully someone will upload it.
if not infected, jacob will confess his meddling with the car to emma
I think what they could’ve done is let you replay a chapter, and when a path is chosen or updated, you can go to the chapter that was effected and choose what events you want to have happened before, and what scene you want to play out.
Yeah this should be the best ending, cause no matter what you choose in the path you must kill Chris in order to kill silas while Constance, Jedediah Bobby and Caleb can survive if Ryan does not stab Bobby while Laura does not resist Constance in the struggle for the gun by force, and lastly make Caitlyn and Dylan both infected before they facing the final encounter with Caleb
i'd honestly choose to kill constance, her death being so gruesome was actually cool
Dylans hand also comes back because of the regeneration so definitely better than just keeping everyone out of harms way.
@@juju6257 Dylan's hand would have never been cut off if he got infected
@@chillypood no he can get bit again
I've seen playthroughs, where you can save Caleb without having Kaitlyn or Dylan be infected by tricking him into the kitchen freezer room. But from what I've seen, it's way harder to pull that off.
Just a few bits of false information/inconsistencies in here:
**EDIT:**
I have solid proof that the wolf who appears in the scrapyard is in fact Silas, not Caleb.
Good stuff pointing all this out
Thank you, fully agree with your first point.
@@Lance_Lionroar these instructions are specifically for a run through where EVERYONE gets infected and EVERYONE (to reasonable extent/including Caleb) survives. Not infecting Dylan defeats the purpose of doing a run through where you infect everyone

Dylan early infection (chapter 5) -> transfoms after scrapyard event.
Dylan late infection (chapter 8) -> never transforms, can be spared by caleb

I personally like this route because it gives a more urgent feeling because you have a timer to end the curse soon or everyone falls to the werewolves.
This is the closest you seem to be able to get in a best case scenario where all PREVENTABLE deaths don't happen so the only casualties are neccessary ones similar to Until dawn losing Hannah, Beth, the stranger and Josh are unavoidable deaths/losses
Wish there was a way to just immedieately go after Silus but the only way i'd see that possible would involve an ending in which if Laura is compliant with Travis, he trusts her enough to let her join the hunting party in which they just go straight to the Ruins, Yes that would premptively end the game but that's a small price to pay for an ending that isn't bittersweet
Josh is avoidable, however, you will see him as a Wendigo after the credits roll.
Don't forget about how Laura and Max go to the camp a day early and gets Max bitten by Chris ;)
"What doesn't kill you, make you stronger"
7:42
Note: Here Abi is no longer infected, beacuse she was bitten by Kaylee, who already died by that time, and that would explain why she never turns into a werewolf no matter what.
So much effort to get this ending, thank you for sharing, really appreciate!
Thank you for all of your effort in making this!

I don’t even play this game but I want to see how every little choice plays out differently lmao
Same lol
Best Ending overall. Dylan got to keep his Hand in this one.

The second bite was from Caleb not nick since he was in the basement I think
In chapter 8 as Ryan saving Jacob, Jacob will be saved no matter what if he's infected.

This is the best ending that you came up with.👍
In the final chapter, Travis claims that “of course“ he knows where Silas is hiding. (I know that revisiting the circus fire was new to Travis, but I thought they hunted Silas every full moon for six years?) If he knew “of course,“ why not post at the circus fire every full moon?
Max staying to survive and Laura just sparking a love with Ryan were so random had me lost at the end of the game 😂
8:16 it says in the wiki that this werewolf is Caleb, also Max is on the island
If Emma is bitten first by Max she transforms in the van, if she is bitten first by Caleb she transforms in the basement

I thought that Emma could use her bear spray or taser.

Lmao "after a quick high five" - Talking about Caleb approaching Kaitlyn. Idk why that was so funny to me
So...within the logic of the game it's not necessary to kill any other wolf apart from Silas? I mean, I get that Kaylee and her dad have to die for the story to progress, but if we had more options we could cure everyone by killing Silas?
It’s necessary to kill Chris in order to kill Silas, and Kaylee will always die no matter what.
This a way cooler playthrough than I had. Makes the game a lot more badass
This is the one I'm talking about! Well done 💯💯
I love the music in the junkyard scene. I also loved Dylan's character as the story progressed.
i'm sorry but dylan is so cute i swear, he just want to save katlin when he transform 😩
Nice... Every ending I have seen has Emma ending safely in the surveillance room with Abby. Nice twist. Must be like 20 different ending and outcomes for this story. Very well developed game.
Lots of effort in this video, good job.
The scene where Emma opens the trapdoor and releases max then starts screaming absolutely kills me. “Oh no, the consequences of my actions”
I respect the time you and other put into finding this ending big props
Is it really unavoidable to kill Chris? Man that's a shame.
I think the fireworks are only used for when Emma is trying to escape bobby and the old man. She can throw the firework at them to distract the werewolf to escape unharmed.
Great guide just a few notes:
While Katylin shooting section in chapter 8 is the hardest of the whole game even with assists on, it's also save scummable, after you shoot if you don't get the cut scene of Emma wolf being knocked, Immediately press start and quit to main menu, you'll be rebooted to the shooting part.
There is a way where Dylan actually doesn't get bit by the werewolf in chapter 5 by leaving the bags in the cabin as Abigail in chapter 1
Dylan and kaitlyn scene always gets me 😭💔
Some stuff in this game, like the amount of different unpredictable outcomes or certain scenes like when the light turns on in the scrapyard are freakin awesome. Others tho... many cutscenes are really awkward, with characters often just standing and watching as the others performs intense action, or making completely unreasonable decisions, and let's not talk about how rushed the ending was.
Okay, so Chris is an unavoidable death. I've come to accept that now. Bummer
Wow I've been wondering if it's possible to keep as many of the Hackett family alive and the main characters
Funny how breaking a door leads to Dylan getting infected
why didn't the hackett fam chain up caleb and kaylee like they did chris? i'm sure they can't contribute to searching for silas in their werewolf form anyway so it would've been best to either chain them up or lock them down in that cell they had...
