Did you go over the Goldman variation of the Caro Kann, it's shockingly sound against the caro kann and it's gives white the initiative. It is amazingly trappy as well
    e4 c6 Nc3 d5 Qf3
Even with best play from black, it's playable according to Lichess Stockfish 16 Cloud giving white 0.0- +0.1.
What is your individual thoughts Igor on this?

It takes a lot of imagination to think up these rare combinations of moves. Very entertaining fantasies.

So I’ve started my chess journey today. Didn’t realize how bad I suck! I got up to 400 on day 1, and have been losing every other game since.
I time out a lot even when in a strong position, or end up blundering in a way that traps my king. My goal for 2024, is ending with 1000 elo.
    Thanks for the help!

As said by some: a plan might destroy your chess, since you at every step depend upon your opponent to do exactly the same move as in the traps shown here. If you have learnt these traps and the opponent does something smart after 3-4 moves, you may find yourself in a losing position you have not been taught how to handle. I think most chess openings can be stopped with one unexpected move. That's what my fellow Norwfgian, Magnus Carlsen, does and he seems to do well...
