Its road grip is better than corolla, a year ago I went to Karachi via Lahore to Multan Highway and didn't find any issue. The travel was with great comfort and it gave 17 km p/l average.
City doesn't have any features but it has great brakes, road grip, stability and power.

First of all a huge shout out for the amazing content that you have been creating so far which in my opinion, is serving a primary purpose of awakening awareness in public of Pakistan regarding automotive sector as well as the safety and road sense. I have been a keen observer of your segment better known as “owner’s review”. I completely understand that the review must be in such a domain that people from all walks of life can understand it so if I say that the review must be done by a person who is both technically aware as well as a long time user of the vehicle will be an unjust argument. So in recent past you happen to upload the review of honda city, which with due respect didn’t cover the major areas which were essential( this is my personal opinion, I may happen to wrong but kindly go through my complete post and correct me if i have observed anything wrong).
1. There are 05 touchable places in honda city 2017 and above ( base variant) which happen to be frequently used by nearly everyone who uses the vehicle those are the 04 door grab handles and 01 middle arm rest, and hail to Honda developers those particular areas are covered in cloth, i surely doubt the long term durability and cleanness of these areas. Atleast these should be made out of some leather or if honda cant afford to provide its customer “ luxury” they can go for a softer plastic material preferably of some dark colour.
2. The floor bed of honda city is not flat, not an issue many vehicles dont have that but moment of sorrow on thinking of honda engineers who have made a huge floor hump running through middle of car eating up space as well as moved the exhaust pipe on one side i.e. drivers side which results in frequent scraping of exhaust pipe even on slightest bumps. A POOR USE OF SPACE i must say.
3. They have moved the petrol tank right underneath the center console i.e. in middle of vehicle which results in 2 problems (a) fuel tank exposed to more danger of scrapping (b) uneven weight distribution which causes it to slip from rear end and let me add moving a fuel tank lower in center doesnt lower down the center of gravity of vehicle that much as the liquid tend to splash.
4. Last but not the least and perhaps the most pathetic design element of this vehicle is the ABSENCE of empty space under front seats which in result creates a hump and once you exit the vehicle your feet hit the hump which is huge problem for elderly people. They have provided rear air ducts under the front seats for passengers in behind but the angle and throw of those ducts is mere useless. Again a POOR USE OF SPACE. I hope the users of this vehicle also note these issues and design flaws. P.S I myself am a Honda city 2018 owner and frequent user. Ignore the spelling and grammar mistakes if any. City is ❤️. Indian City comes with tons of options starting from rain sensing wipers to CVT and sunroof. Atlas ne image kharab kardia is gari ka. Shame for atlas.

hey im from india..love ur content..honda city in india is equipped with abs , ebd and two air bags as standard...and its one generation ahead, earlier in india also the companies used to take the customers for a ride..thanx to public pressure things have changed, now these three things are of utmost importance for any car to be road legal in india..
ABS is just as useful as airbags. Matter of fact, ABS is more likely to be used in day to day traffic than airbags. That being said, both of these basic safety features are crucial and should be made compulsory by the government of your country.

Main problem in all city cars is it's front pailer always come at front of ur vision and a friction of time u lost the vision . Which is very risky

The only advantage of sharkfin antena is here in europe where when we wash our cars under automatic washer so we dont need to take it off. But in case of rod antena you have take it off every sing time otherwise it ll be broken

•city got abs where as corolla got airbags
•city is powerfull where as corolla is underpowered
• city gives you feel about driving like road grip but no comfort. where as corolla is about comfort but no driving feel.
• city is fuel efficient as compared to corolla
• corolla is bigger and durable( body interior, suspension) as compared to city
• A.C is best as compared to city.
• interiour less noisy as compared to city
This review is based on my own assumptions. because i own both of these cars.
suneel bhai ko city pasand ni hain lakin reality yahi hain k city 1.3 corolla 1.3 say behtar hain in some terms. like grip, fuel effec and low cost spare parts.

@@mydocuments5069 both are good. no 1.3 is not underpowered cuz it produces 100hp see 1300cc corolla produces 84hp.
1.5 is very good. it is eco thats fuel efficient it can give you 5% more fuel efficiency as compared to 1.3
Corolla Gli manual is not underpower but automatic is.
I think suzuki Ciaz is best option now in this price bracket

There is a blind spot for driver due to right pilar position as one cannot see cars coming from right side at a road bends.
This becomes serious sometimes, if you are at high speed.

Suneel sir i think u r wrong at the point where u said that airbags are much preferred option then ABS .
Sir i think ABS should be compulsory in every car because in pakistan people use their cars within in city and not drive much out of city.
So i think there are less chances for accidents .
So airbags are not much needed but ABS brakes could be very useful in driving.

Beautiful city ! (the place I mean). Bro, there is one special feature this car has which is perhaps not there in any and I wonder why it never came up in the review. I am sure you would know that in this model the petrol tank is under the front seats which frees up a lot of space under the rear bench.
For a few years I have had both together( this model 1.5 with torque converter auto and paddle shift as well as the newest one 1.5 with sequential shift using paddle shifters CVT auto).
Bro, this model I feel is superior (particularly in the auto guise) than the newer model and I rue the day last year when I let it go after a flawless 150K on the odo. Also, Michelins 175/65 R16 have less rubber and more silicon content which reduces rolling resistance and give better mileage but the treads start to chip on bad roads which there are a-plenty. With a 1.5 liter engine and auto I got 14kmpl in the city and 17 on the expressway which the newer model cannot give. My apologies for a long thread. Thanks and happy driving.
I think Suzuki Ciaz is better than City excellent fuel average, comfort, style, colour range,Air bags, suspension, ground clearance, build in bridgestone tyres, trunk space awesome. But it's little costly it's my personal opinion U can differ from me.

Seems unbelievable, today I can't get the same model used car even in 25 lac.
I just bought Swift DLX 1.3 2016 for 16.5 Lac, because I was looking for City 1.3 2016, and it was somewhere around 23 Lacs
This city was discontinued in 2014 in India,why honda is still giving the same city in 2019 also where as there are 2 facelift came after this in india..
Almost no government regulations on the automotive industry, it is sad.
I think government should reduce taxes and all the policies regarding the automotive industry as now a days car is really important thing in our life’s and everyone should get the better and updated car by giving their hard earned money whether its india or pakistan.

Suneel Bhai I'm user of Honda City and I've been driving it for a long time both manual 1.3 2010 model and prosmetic 2015 1.5 aspire. One of of the known fault in 1.3 is that, jab aap usmein cng use karte ho toh even if you drive on cng your petrol gauge is going down too as if you are using petrol while in reality your petrol tank is full. The main fault which I believe is in all variants of city is that the car is very light weighted so if you use the company tires which are slim, the car is not stable on motorway with lacks grip but if you use fat imported genuine tires then your stability is way better than Corolla. One major complaint about Honda is that their build Quality is not as good as Toyota even tho I'm Honda fan but I can't run away from the reality.

Honda city 2k14 model tak ki price 14 lacs thi and now its price is more than 19 lacs.. But shape me no change and no extra feature added In this car not even air bags.. Price change almost 5 lacs Hui hai but difference 1 lac ka bhi nahi nazar aata😂😂..idk why people buy this model of city.. Is se thori aur range me GLI is a much better option in my opinion

Suniel Bhai let me bring in your kind notice that Honda city from the very start is 1300 cc not 1298 cc as Toyota. That's why its one of the good step that Honda revised the CC to 1339 cc. Because token tax, withholding tax etc each and every thing is same whether its 1300 cc or above. I have 1300 cc Prosmatec 2010 and all this i am saying with evidence.

Driver side door inner Handle finishing issue, it has some gaps, I have purchased 2014 zero meter and sold in 2016. Same problem till now. Never ever buy this piece of scrap again.

I bought City Aspire 2018 1.5 Prosmetic (full option) zero meter. My experience was awful. ABS was unstable. Long drive was very uncomfortable... and the worse issue was it's average. I was getting 7.5km/l within city and 9 on long route. When I took it to Honda they told me there is nothing wrong with the car, I just need to take it out of city more often to set it's average.
Im getting 8.5 in city and 10.5 on long route
Dear Sunil sab you are an inspiration to millions of Pakistanis including myself. I'm your die hard fan and very regular follower on pakwheels. But with all due respect, can you pls advise us if any of Corolla versions except ALTIS had air bags just a few years back in Pakistan. CITY is most popular family car with great economy of petrol as compare to other 1300 CC cars im the league. I never kept CITY as of my own but used and drove it a lot from 2005 model till 2019. No match with XLI but you can compare it with GLI for sure. if city has not changed its shape for 10 years, neither did Corolla changed for years & years in the past like mehran with minor changes in shape of head or back lights.
