The Harley Dave Hi that's great to hear. After adding the super tall boy seat, did you get more legroom? I'm 6ft and found the pegs to be awkwardly placed in the stock Street Rod. This motorcycle has everything excellent going for it, except for that foot pegs..

Very Bad Engine and cranking quality and design (Many of HOG commented) . Router and starter gears and Clutch Quality are not good .... the engine crank Casing is a failed Design.... I got a serious problem on 1200 KM run, The Motorcycle still brand new Street 750 2015 Model but not operating ... I went to the dealer where the warranty already finished 4 months back, They gave the attached report and said I have to change everything - Report saying: ((( -Bike not start -Bike cutoff in middle of the road - service of 1600 KM *Bike final report 1- Engine Crankcase is broken, 2- Starter motor is broken 3-Router is damaged ))) Harley Davidson Dealer workshop - Kuwait And the dealer workshop said - I have to change the full set - Engine and Gearbox) No Maintenance price is offered. I am 1 year rider and I never loaded the bike ... The bike traveled only 1200 KM, At HD workshop I saw 3 Motorcycles of Same model with the same and different problems. No proper feedback from HD hiding from the street 750 owners the problems of the 2015/2016 models. No feedback no proper maintenance but offering new bike of another model (2017/2018 - not within the budget) They can compensate 1500 USD only if you choose another bike at a price of 17,000$ as minimum which will be the down payment of your next new bike only from the same dealer. I Like HD but I got a hard stress for the first bike I used. I will take sometime to make my decision so I will choose the correct HD model which will fit my requirement but not from the dealer I suggest HD to compensate all the owners of Street 750 who have the same issues and defaults ... Actually I lost about 3700 USD on this bike and it is parking beside th building waiting someone to buy it for spare parts or scrap. Thanks for all here and for your support.
The new X440 will hopefully iron out the heat and other unpleasant variables and once again renew the trust and love which Harley set out to achieve with experience of Hero backing it this time. I hope this third time proves to be lucky for buyer and seller alike. 😅😅

u can't understand that the only bikes that hide the heat are crotch rockets cuz the engine is being wrapped around by plastic body harleys engines are all in the open more air more power. liquid cooled bikes all run hotter then harleys air cooled engines. every bike I've rode has always been hot it's how a engine works. u never felt ur car hood after driving even a minute it gets hot. any engine does!
I would say partly correct, having rode a lot of different bikes , when I test rode the street rod when it came out, I actually had to get off the bike to push it back in the line of of test bikes, the heat from the bike was horrible,I have not had to do that with any other naked bike.
What makes it not a Harley?, it is a bike designed and made in a Harley factory with a Harley Davidson badge put on the tank, oh so it could be that its water cooled, my VROD is water cooled and the elephant in the room, project rushmore.
This 750 is not that aggressive as she is telling.In fact street rod is one of the cheapest Harley Davidson.i like Harley Davidson breakout.it looks so much better and has a lot of power.
@@markchatten9484 buddy the riding position is weird. Its neither aggressive nor laid back. Has strange ergonomics and will make you hemmed in on the saddle. No proper heat dissipation mechanism. Its will burn your legs on long route. So it's more about owning a legacy than being a practical everyday commuter
I like the bike and also the presenter, this Harley is a bit different than the others and the good thing is that you don't have to be one of the sheep that buy Harleys and polish them and only ride when it's not raining.
Only a total fool would buy on of those pieces of trash over a Sportster 883. The Sportster is 10 times better in every way, and gives you the real Harley riding experience. Yes, I have test ridden this thing. I also own a Royal Enfield B5, with an aftermarket exhaust, and converted to an Amal carb. And while I like the Sportster better (I have a 2006 Sportster 1200) the Bullet is still light years ahead of that "street rod" thing. That's a lot of money to spend for a boat anchor.
I'm afraid you are misinformed. The street rod can out- perform a sportster any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Not only is it water cooled (so better in traffic) it can be ridden more aggressively than a sportster due to its lean angles and high rev limit and greater compression ratio.
Very bad bike! Much issues, looks its build in one night in darkness. You dont find neutral, the exhaust pots touch u legs and u feel hot, the rear brake too close too the rest pedal, and is no led light, is much cables everyplases, no, this bike is not a bike u will love;

As you rightly said Engine heat is too much, and that too when you drive legs are very close to the Engine
no words for efficiency, suspension , performance figures and many things are left, yes FE isnt important but a review should be comprehensive.
