I think there was an interview with bang pd a long time ago in 2009 or 2010 where he said that he wanted to work with a group like shinee and that they really stood out in the industry - something along those lines. People say bang pd took inspiration from shinee to create txt. I don't think your sunbae or all the groups in a company should be the same. They should all be different and be their own group and I like that txt's style is distinct from bts'.
No one comments abt Yeonjun skillfully expressing Taemin's move. His execution is near perfection. No other else cover of Replay made me think of near Taemin's skills but watching this, I would say Yeonjun did the best covering Taemin's dance.
As a Shawol who got into k-pop because of SHINee and whose bias is Jonghyun, I don’t know what to say. This is the most beautiful tribute to SHINee. I’m just so grateful and thankful TXT did this. Sometimes when younger groups cover their seniors it’s a little cringey because they try so hard and get the dance, vocals, or rap really good but it feels like they can’t decide if they want to match the vibe of the original or confidently make it their own thing. It’s very clear when you see a cover and the group tries really hard but something is still off about the cover. I feel like with TxT they always make it clear and confidently make it it their own thing while respecting the original. I never sense any awkward, intimidated, hesitation from their covers the way I get that feeling from some other covers.
SHINee's Noona TXT is under BigHit Ent. They are second boy group that debuted there. BTS are their sunbaenims/brother group. TXT debuted March 4th of 2019. TXT is under BigHit Ent. They are second boy group that debuted there. BTS are their sunbaenims/brother group. TXT debuted March 4th of 2019. They won a lot of rotys (probably about eight) this year. There are 5 members in the group:

I feel like txt is the only group that has come close to doing it the way shinee perform their songs...like txt have the best shinee covers. seeing taehyun covering jonghyun's part made me believe in a slight chance of rebirth/recreation happening here. obviously taehyun can NEVER replace jonghyun but I cant help feeling a small part of jonghyun being left out at Earth in the form of taehyun. Even if u analyse their voices,its so similar,i had to really try and make out who's whose? And their smiles are really very similar. And i have even heard that some MOAs call taehyun a nickname which means " a person who is living his second life" because of him acting more mature than his age. Coincidence much? Not just their music specifically, but more so them as a group? Idk if that makes sense but they give off such a nostalgic old-school vibe and kind of reminds me of old kpop.
