May this homie thrive in photography.🙏
One aspect of starting a home studio that I was lucky to discover a long time ago is to buy all my gear used. I was able to get some really great gear for 10% of it's original price. The trick is to do your research on the gear and be ready to get it once it comes on the market as the good stuff goes fast.
Yes! Almost all my lenses are second hand and they work perfectly find.
Really nice overview! I’ve been going through building my home studio over the last 8-9 months and you’ve got some great advice and direction here!
Glad it was helpful!

Hi there! is a Transmeter and a trigger is just one? Im triying to understand which one i need to start my photography business too thank u
Whats up good brother
I love this video. It really helps beginers and I'm going to have to make my own version at some point.
Shooting at home is a great way to save money in the beginning, especially for test shoots.
When done properly, you can't tell if a photo was shot at home, or in a fancy studio in LA
I know this is a year old, but did you have trouble carving out space, moving furniture, needing more room?
My home journey
Years I accidentally won an ebay bidding war over a package of 2 lights, 2 stands, 2 umbrellas for $99. Those were my first lights.
I bought some el cheapo triggers from amazon, and then went to a fabric store and bought a huge white piece to use as a backdrop. I should have used it more as a drapery because the wrinkles really bothered me.
Now, my gear has changed but I'm still using the backdrop stands from Calumet (out of business), Savage paper, I made my own cloth backdrop, I have aputure triggers but want to switch to godox
Hey, Sorry for the late response and I appreciate you stopping by and giving feedback. Starting out I did have trouble with space at my home but I was determined to get better and I didn’t have a choice. The wrinkles in the fabric will stress you out I’ve been there lol when you switch to paper you will never switch back. But continue to shoot and invest in gear
Great video love seeing black creators
😊 Thanks for stopping by
Yes sir imma have to do a home studio video to start this TH-cam journey
Absolutely! Start today 💪🏾
Good
Hi may I ask if how will I connect my camera to a monitor then using remote to self shoot myself. Do i need cable from my camera to monitor?
Savage makes a leader bar for seamless paper that will help keep the edge from fraying and make your paper last longer. Even a line of tape along the edge to reinforce it helps.
Definitely have to look into this thanks
Appreciate the advise
I appreciate the luv
🎉nice video. After step 2. On budget computer, lightroom, how to get clients, first payment no refund will be great

One question do you leave your normal lights on or do you completely shoot in the dark
