This was an awesome interview Chris. As I said before, Farr&Swit isn't exactly my cup of tea in terms of design. But mad props to Adam and his company. This is exactly what microbrands should be. A person with their own vision making something niche that nobody else makes and doing their utmost to make it the best way they can.
Couldn’t agree more Andrei! I think they are worth investing a little more money than into another known brand that are putting out “bland” or been there done that designs. I love what Farr and Swit are doing and their watches are really well made, and the cool/unique factor on their designs are a real draw for me.
She's a fine looking timepiece! The good folks at Farr & Swit make some really nice stuff. I do agree with you regarding the rubber strap. I'm not a huge fan og the NATO either. On certain watched I'm ok with them but they're never my first choice. Hope you are well Chris!
That's a very nice watch. I have the same solar movement in a motor racing themed Pulsar Chronograph, of course Pulsar is owned by Seiko. I can say that the movement is absolutely accurate and reliable and really does stay alive for a long time. I can't remember the name of the movement itself as I don't have it with me now. As it's in this watch I definitely recommend it. It would also look great on the black leather strap with red accents I had made for my Orient Panda Chronograph. It's definitely a watch that you'd look at and then have to look again because you forgot to check the time.😁
@@MirrlyonTime I will, but if memory serves me, I don't think the movement number was on the caseback and I don't want to open it. If I can find the instructions manual then I'd know, but do I have it? That's the question! 🤣
@@farrandswit Thanks a lot!! . Much appreciate the research you did to find the right movement for your watch. , I'd say you are exactly spot on for mine too. 👍👍👍👍 P. S. I just had a look at it now on Calibre Corner. You are 100% correct, I definitely have the same movement. Seems to be the only choice available. Good luck with the watch, it's absolutely gorgeous!

I purchased the Vice 2.0 this morning for pre-order. It actually looks better than the original. I used the code and got it for about $480. I would normally NEVER, EVER, EVER spend that amount of money on a solar watch, considering I buy mostly vintage watches, but this watch is SO cool. Nothing else out there like it. I made an exception. In all honesty I'll bet if this watch was brought down in price $75-100 and mass produced and marketed well, it would sell like hot cakes. This is such a cool looking watch. Great job on the design!

A $100 less and I would be buying one as I type. I was looking for the Seiko SSC 785 Solar Chronograph. £349. They stopped making them. 🤬 Back to your watch. A Razor wire type metal bracelet might suit it?
One quick question Chris, can you adjust the chronograph hand and the chrono sub dial if they get out of alignment. I know some meca quartz can and some can't. On another note my helm khuriburi titanium arrived last week.
Great question beta! I did not know that you may not be able to reset. As such I’m not going to try with mine, lol but I’ll reach out to Adam and see if he knows for sure. Send a pic of your helm to email! mirrlyontime@gmail.com

The movement in our Solar Chrono is a Seiko/Pulsar VS71A. I dug through lots of spec sheets to find a solar powered sweeping chrono hand.
