One problem with this theory is how Chica has the exact same pattern of damage across her chassis both in-game and in the poster. I'd say it's nigh impossible that she'd be damaged in the exact same way in two completely different scenarios. Also, Steel Wool has been known to jump the gun on production and mess things up (like when their shtick with Funko [at least I think it was them] confirmed the Vanny=Vanessa theory before the game was even released)
I thought that that was just her endo because as we can see in the endo section of the game their jaws are I think at least a little bit covered in yellow.
Remember when Vanessa said she has a reward for Gregory at the main stage? Maybe that'll be the next part to the DLC? When we do go to the main stage, nothing happens, but when the DLC comes out, maybe we'll get proper closure to what it is?

The DLC image kinda looks like just a reskinned Chica, it's not like her beak is intact after all. Maybe she was destroyed like we see in the game but they thought it would look better if she still had SOME of her beak.
Also, they might have spare parts. Maybe Chica just found a spare head piece that was damaged in the fire ending but still preferred to the one she had. Like a hermit crab picking a new shell.
Or maybe it isn't the Chica from the main game... it could be another endoskeleton running around in spare parts.
I thought it was just the way they'd drawn the endoskeleton mouth a bit weirdly, it doesn't seem to be the orange like her beak should be, looking more like the metallic shine from the endo mouth

This chica design has different eyelashes along with a beak- it could possibly just be an additional animatronic- a replacement in the basement that got burned in the fire

I hope the multiple security breach endings doesn't lead to a split timeline where every game after security breach takes place in either the Gregory loses timeline or the Gregory wins timeline. Then again security breach broke the lore multiple times and even broke itself, so anything is possible at this point.
Or they go the Mass Effect route. If you made this major choice, this character shows up in the next game. But of you made the opposite choice, another character shows up instead. One who is basically a cheap knockoff of the other character. So if you save or kill Vanny, then in the next game, you get... Manny, a blonde security guard named Emmanuel, who gets possessed by Glitchtrap and puts on a bunny costume.
And yes, it was as bad as it sounds.

since Chika's melted, I think the ending with Freddy burning the building and throws Vannie down with him is the one this DLC will play on. it's already weird with Vanessa being atop of the building, so why not continue from there as it's the one with a mystery to it.
One flaw with this is in the end of the comic shows the whole building burned to the ground meaning it's ashes, the pizzaplex canonically is in ruin so the fire escape ending isn't plausible and his flaw in the theory is chica loses her beak no matter what, the Afton ending according to source codes in the game is the canon game. The leaving at 6 am ending wouldn't result in a burned chica so it's automatically debunked anyway.

@@SuperMophie agreed after all, Game Theory pointed out that the games and lore of certain fnaf parts are actually in this universe, in book 2 tales of the pizzaplex they mention something also mentioned in Help Wanted, that a madman created video games and stories loosely based off real events, specifically fnaf 1-4, and those games have questionable canonicity. So maybe this is also a realish game and that it didn't actually happen
Its always been a personal theory of mine that if you actually study each ending from each game, the typically deemed 'bad ending' tends to fit best with the proposed next game (in timeline not release order)

the files confirm the Burntrap boss is the true ending.
And Chica looses her beak no matter what. Freddy already knowing Vanny's name at 6AM no matter which path you took shows that gregory canonically went to Fazbe Blast first, meaning Chica canonically has her Beak missing before the other Glamrocks are beaten.
When do the files confirm the Afton ending as the canon one? I am asking cause I don’t remember the files confirming that.

Hate to say it but I wouldn't be surprised if Steel Wool just thought fuck it lets give her a beak for no reason. FNAF has always been inconsistent with character designs and sprites so I feel like Steel Wool are taking advantage of that.
Steel Wool changed the design of the Vanny mask between VR and SB. Phantom Freddy and Foxy are for whatever reason based off the Withereds despite FNaF 3 taking place after the FNaF 1 remodeling. William Afton's corpse somehow regrows a limb between Pizzeria Sim and SB. Design cues just aren't super compelling evidence on their own historically in the series, so I think basing any predictions off of Chica seemingly having a beak isn't useful at all really.
Game theory explains Afton's extra limb, based on the new endo design, after Monty trashed Bonnie, Vanny seemed to have used the endo of Bonnie for Afton, it was supported by the hands, which were large just like the animatronics that are built for strumming the bass, which was Bonnie's old role
Well I have a theory to explain springtraps designs and hear me out i think fnaf 3 springtrap and pizzaria sim springtrap are 2 different springlock bodys just same soul, we see springtraps face at the end of fnaf 3 in the newspaper right but he's is laying down as if he died, what if he pulled what he did at the end of fnaf 6 and moved his soul into the suit of another springlock victim. Burntrap isn't scraptrap body it Is the fnaf 3 body upgraded.
Actually, Remnant is capable of helping with the regeneration of the body. That's why Burntrap has rows of human teeth now when Springtrap barely had any left. Considering the fact that William fed too much Remnant to his new physical body, and the fact that we don't know how many years have passed, it is safe to say that Burntrap is not against the lore.

Phantom Freddy/Foxy could very easily be hallucinations from someone who has seen the Withereds, and Vanny probably rebuilt Afton. The Vanny mask design changing could easily have been Vanny deciding she just didn't like exactly what it looked like. Design details are important, and I think something as major as a missing beak (which was a critical point in the lore around FNAF 4) would be usable.
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised FNAF has almost always had secret good endings in a bad ending
What "secret good ending" is in Help Wanted? All of them seem "bad".
I mean when FNAF3 first came out, the normal bad ending was listed as the True Ending and the secret good ending wasn't (implying that Happiest Day never happens). Since this is a horror series, the bad endings might always be the canon ending and the good endings just a feel good ending for the sake of giving the player reward for trying so hard.

Another great vid. The "game over" ending is one I never thought about...however an important detail we don't know is how much time has passed between SB and Ruin. Ruin taking palce immediately or days after SB would make the most sense, as opposed to taking place months or years later, but we just have to wait for more info to come out.
It's also possible that Chica could have haphazardly tried to put herself back together...with mixed results.
And darn it, I thought for sure you'd get through this entire vid w/ Marq on your lap.

About Chica's beak, I think they chose to show here cause she's the simplest design and the most common "Main enemy". And when she melts, I think it's just her head melted and looks droopier, and the "Beak" is just the Endo's mouth, cause if you look closely at it, or at least what I see, is that the endoskeletons already have a somewhat beak shaped mouth for some reason, maybe to make moving the exoskeleton jaws easier?
Theres also red stuff on her chest close to the presumed beak, I think it's just pizza cheese and sauce that couldn't be properly eaten due to the lack of beak.

And now that I look closely, although I'm right about the endoskeleton mouth, there IS something yellow dripping fr her mouth, which could be her beak melted easily since it's such a small part that can seemingly come off easy
But it could also just be, like you said, pizza or trash that she can't eat right, except it's just cheese

Looking back at this theory from post release, a "that's not a beak, that's just goo" could have definitely been on the table, but Steelwool really got the community with that bait. It's intentionally in the shadows, so it's hard to get a correct color on it, we can't see the feet well, so we can't compare it, and the increased damage makes direct comparisons difficult.
Truly a FNAF-style bait and switch. They really did learn a lot from their mistakes of Security Breach.

Is that a beak... Or the curve of the "mouth hole" understructure of the robot? Look at the mouth area of Chica after her beak is removed; then look at the shape of the "mouth hole" on the ruin poster.

The way i see it, Steal Wool giving chica a beak couldn't have been an accident. They know how much the FNAF community picks apart every pixel of the games, literally lol. They did it for a reason and this could be it. overall great theory!

The shape of the thing you are assuming is a beak looks more like the endoskeleton to me, also, let’s say that it is her beak, it looks to deformed to me for that to actually be her beak… and with most of her being broken, especially with half her face being practically melted, her endoskeleton would be more exposed, making it look like a beak in low light… also, Springtrap’s design changes are just as, if not, even more inconsistent, we really can’t rely on this poster for everything… so I’m gonna have to say that I don’t think this theory is correct…

7:15 I don't see a beak. To me it looks just like shattered glam rock Chica but more destroyed.
I think this is getting some really good outside the box thinking, and I like that. So far all discussion's been inside the box, what "endings" could lead to the Ruin DLC and that always goes to the Afton Ending must be cannon, and the only real reason anyone could give for that is "that's always been how it's been before" when it really comes down to it.
I agree, the Pizzaplex is doomed to collapse no matter what, unless someone were to step in and make MAJOR repairs to avert that. In fact, I have footage of even more damage I've shared on the RyeToast server under my ID there, Seriously Unserious, which shows the "garbage dump sewers" most of it isn't "sewers" at all, and most of the "trash" down there is not trash, but wreckage from a major section of the building having already caved in. The underground parking and massive swathes of the Utility Tunnels in both B1 and B2. A huge chunk of the Pizzaplex is already caved in before SB even happens, so why would it take one specific gameplay event to trigger what's left to cave it? It wouldn't. Even if no stress is done to the building, time alone would trigger the breaking point sooner or later.
Well There is actually one crucial detail that gets missed a lot.
And That Crucial Detail Is Freddy having Monty’s Claws in the Disassemble Freddy cutscene. While It may seem like A Mistake but IMO it does seem like they are trying to hint at which ending is canon.
While I do believe that They are trying to make RUIN a aftermath of the Afton Ending. It seems They wanted Security Breach to be the end of The Afton Timeline.
While The Afton Ending and RUIN is a separate alternate ending (Like the other multiple endings) and continuation.
.
They even put the Princess quest 2 Arcade Cabinet right in front of us right where the last switch in the DJ Music Man Segment…Almost as if we were supposed to play the first one….Like They expect us to play the first Princess Quest arcade Cabinet.
So The Most likely candidates for The True ending are
1. The Princess Quest Ending.
Or
2. The Disassemble Vanny ending.
@@adammartinez8061 Ruin may also be a prequel. There's plenty of evidence that the Pizzaplex was ruined before SB, and then rebuilt before SB takes place. So Ruin could actually take place between Special Delivery and SB. Filling in more of the backstory, rather then moving the story forward. Maybe giving us an Origins of The Blob story.

In this same vain, I've been thinking the ending where you just leave at the main doors at 6am is cannon. We know vanny then gets Gregory but it's unclear what she does with him.
Also, Chicas beak being melted could be a hint at the fire ending being cannon (assuming you kill Monty then leave through the fire escape). The problem with that is that it explicitly kills Vanny, and after all the complaints at how small her role was, I doubt they'd then make this the cannon ending (same applies to either Vanny ending as well)
I don't think Chica in the teaser has a beak, it's more like the part of the Endoskeleton that holds the voice box, look at Endos without shell in Pizzaplex and you'll see they have the same outline
Yeah I still believe it's the Afton ending because even though every time the player dies the game ends. However never in FNAF history is the ending where the player dies in gameplay considered a proper end. Another thing we have to account for is the vanny deaths and Gregory's, vanny dies in the dismantle vanny ending so that can be it nor the princess quest ending and the fire escape ending it's more likely she died, Gregory dies in the escape the pizza Plex and the ending where Freddy and Gregory drive off does not have the place burn down. So what is left?

I'd like to point out that examining Shattered Chica and Ruined Chica reveals that she has the same kind of damage to her chest plate on her left side, as well as the fact that the entirely missing section of her head lines up with cracks on Shattered Chica's design. Two things in the franchises history are happening again. Chica loosing her beak, and her endo's teeth being mistaken for something else. She was definately destroyed in the ending leading to the DLC.

I've never played ANY FNAF game but I personally find the entire lore & story & theory aspect absolutely fascinating. Yeah this month and this year in general have been crazy for FNAF theory and new FNAF TH-camrs. I think like five new FNAF TH-camrs cropped up this year if you include me

I... I don't like that idea. Specifically because continuing a games story in DLC from an ending that doesn't even exist is, it's just weird and there's no real evidence to say that's what happens when you are caught by the animatronics

Both sides (Fire escape or Dead Greggo) make for a good theory, but I'm not 100% convinced It wasn't just an artistic choice or, Simply just a retcon/oversight.

tbh the afton ending feels like that something is cut from it like in a second we are in the area where we burn afton and then we just randomly just run from him in a completely different room
after all dlcs add some lost/scrapped content so maybe they will change the game endings and we will get more info but for now this theory works very will

yo wait this is great, tbh i never considered the deaths an ending but it makes perfect sense with how u explained it. if gregory dies in the building collapse, maybe he pulls a glitchtrap and joins with the technology (fazwatch or smth), hence how our new protagonist sees him. he'd pull a glamrock freddy and be that kind of assistance.

Ruin is a prequel. And takes place during the construction of the Pizzaplex over the RUIN of the FNAF 6 location. The protagonist is the occupant of the FNAF 4 chest. Which will be revealed to be the robot version of Charlie. Who will finally be active now that Henry was able to recover Charlie’s spirit from the captured puppet.

In the VIP ending the Pizzaplex burns down and would definitely harm all animatronics, but in that ending we don’t need to decommission chica. So when the Pizzaplex burns down Chica and the other animatronics start melting and result in the different look we get for “Melted Chica” the we get for shattered chica

Awww, I love that kitty cat you have there! Also, it is possible to escape the Pizzaplex early if one were to get Level 7 security clearance to escape via the loading dock.
Giving Chica the Pizza after trying to get out the fire escape (security badge in office), escaping almost and Found, and getting out of P&S with Freddy can at least earn an extra security level, and successfully repairing the assist drive robot head and getting the security badge from that room means Gregory and Freddy can leave an hour early without even hurting Roxy. It worked for me. Dona Nobis Pachem.
Can I just say how much I adore theories based solely on a single tiny detail? I mean, I love full fledged theories too, but trying to scrape together a story out of scraps is so peak FNaF! Even when I discover them long after they’re debunked, I still gobble them up!
I love this theory. However, I do wanna throw something out there. This is a DLC. DLC’s can take place before or after a story. Although in some cases, like The Force Unleashed, DLC’s can be continuations to non-canon endings, while the next game will just continue on the main story. While I doubt FNAF would do this since they’ve never done it before, I do want to take it into consideration. It’s possible that the DLC is just a continuation of a non-canon ending. But hey, that’s just a theory.

I can't agree with this. First of all Chika is obviously broken, very similar to how Gregory breaks her and second of all, she seems kind of melted to me. IMO the Scraptrap ending is canon and Vanny is continuing Afton's work or he isn't actually dead and has merged with and dominated the Blob (he always comes back). I think Gregory and Freddy return to "finish the job" aka. confront Vanny, but they were ambushed by a blobified Afton and were captured (Freddy is prob destroyed, while Greg is being used in some way).
Idk my biggest problem with this theory that the ruin poster chika has the same cracks just bigger than the broken chika we get in game. So it would comform that its the broken chika but now melted and more broken.
No. I'm gonna hafta agree with Mat Pat on this. For all we know, Chica could have the color of her beak inside her head or she could've found it and tried to put it on when the Pizza Plex started collapsing. Besides, it seems like Afton will make a return in the DLC inside of the blob. That just feels right to me.
1 more thing - chica's beak is missing at the teaser, if you look closely you can see that the thing we think was beak, is actually an endo's mouth. also damage on broken chica and teaser chica pretty much is same(except that teaser chica has more damage in some places, but in most of the places its same). however the thing that is melted is chica's main suit(white skin thingy i guess)
Or you know,the reason why chica has her beak is just to make fun of Matpat because he chose to get the fazcam first and Markuplyer called him a nerd

I mean, Chica is very clearly intact after the Loading Dock ending, considering the newspaper we get at the end. They could easily have just repaired her at any time after the game happened in most endings, and the building would have collapsed after she got repaired. I like the theory, but I don't think the beak thing is evidence enough. I do think it's very possible it rules out the Afton ending (and probably the Fire Escape ending) though, because the Pizzaplex would collapse with Chica already damaged.
I think the most likely ending in that case to lead to it would either be the Leave ending or getting captured in the Pizzaplex; I don't think either of the Vanny endings are likely (Vanny being out of commission or rescued makes Afton's job quite tough, like mentioned), and the Loading Dock ending just doesn't feel canon, though it's certainly possible.
One issue, Chica doesn't have her beak in the Ruin DLC teaser, it's just her endo
something i'd love to see in this dlc or as concepts for the dlcs, is the exploration of the stories after each ending, so this could be a dlc going over the bad ending of SB and the next one could explore the afton ending and the 'true' ending

So to the theory that Glamrock Chica has her beak in the poster I don't think that's true. If you look at the design in the poster and compare it to one of the glamrock endoskeletons, you'll find that thats not her beak it's just an exposed endoskeleton mouth.

That girl looks like Elizabeth Afton (same general look, purple shoes for Afton family). I think there was a previous theory about trying to calm the agony in the tentacle blob, and this could be the representation of a copy of Elizabeth in the system trying to stop the agony. It may not have to do with the pizzaplex at all, just somehow plugged into the blob.

I disagree with the notion that Gregory didn’t break Chica in the poster. If you compare Ruin Chica to Shattered Chica, the cracks on Chica’s thighs match up. And the DLC can’t take place after the Roof ending, because the newspaper at the end states the Pizzaplex burned to the ground. The only conclusion I have is that Gregory and Freddy DID get out, but came back for reasons unknown.

This is interesting, but it's confirmed by the van ending that any animatronics that you damage are repaired if you leave the pizzaplex intact.
Chica, Roxy, and Monty are all fully repaired in the van ending, and doing shows with Mr. Hippo as their new 4th band member. So it's not like Fazbear Ent. couldn't fix them in the other endings where the building is left intact.
So going by that line of thinking that would make it to where any ending where the pizzaplex stays open long enough after Gregory leaves for the animatronics to be repaired to be plausible.
Listen, I know this is a super well thought out theory, but I spent most of my first watch through sobbing over how cute that cat is. PLEASE give him pats for me.
The van ending is so outrageously over the top, I firmly believe it's Gregory hallucinating and he approaches brain death.
Theory is further validated by the new Steam artwork with a Shattered Freddy we have no scenario of seeing in any regular playthrough. With extra time and no Gregory to help him out, he'd fall into Afton's control like the others and sustain damage on the collapse.

I've always pointed that out, they don't grab you nearly as aggressively the bots do in the other games. There is a real chance you don't die.
I personally think the art has her face melted rather than her beak melted, as it looks kinda like her endo mouth but drawn a tad bit funny lol, since this isn't a poster of the models and rather a drawing/painting art piece, so mistakes on the artist's part are entirely possible, whether it be off proportions or certain details incorrectly.

the thing is with this theory is that they wouldnt run tests on gregory they would kill him and give his rement to burntrap also the only reason the pizzeria collapsed like that is because of gregory burning burntrap causing the place to become more unstable so i believe that the burntrap ending is the cannon ending the reason chica has a beak again could be because of a mistake or she could of tried to fix herself because if you look at the poster the chica we see looks pretty much like the broken chica we see other then having a beak being more broken and a melted face and she is missing her arm plates on her left arm her left eye is busted and her chest is a bit more damaged but its in the exact same area as broken chica and we dont see the other animatronics so we dont know how they will look they might be a little fixed as well just also melted we wont know until ruin comes out so the only 2 endings that could cause the pizzeria to collapse and the animatronics to melt would be the fire escape ending and the burntrap ending but again i think the burntrap ending is the cannon since its the hardest to get

It could also be that they're trying to make a FNAF multi-timeline thing like with Legend of Zelda. This could be their version of the beginning of a "Ruin" timeline.

Considering they Made Breath of the wild a Convergance point where all 3 Timelines become One again[References to Twilight Princess; Which took place in the CHILD Timeline Having Ritos which Existed in the Adult timeline, albeit more humanoid than they are in BOTW; and the existance of Lynels in the game; which Only existed in the Fallen Hero Timeline; as we didn't see those Feline Centaur-esque Monsters ANYWHERE in either the Child OR Adult Timelines!!
The ending with vanny/vannessa being freed, as you said about the recorded screens. It could be that the screens were recorded, then gregory frees vanny/vannessa so all burntrap has left is those recordings. Then he uses the recordings to lure that girl in to then take control over her. I might be wrong, but a theory is a theory
You know in the FNAF SB Dlc I want a ending where vannessea is saved from Glitchtraps control and Aftons last stand I just don't want vannessea to die she didn't do anything wrong whts yours Rye? And they live happily

I think the ruin teaser certainly can be hinting at the fact that the dlc takes place after Gregory dies/is captured because in the picture Freddy's chest is broken apart and open, like Gregory was ripped out or something.
Ill be honest I assumed her beak was still missing and that's just an artist rendition of how the hole in her face looks cause I'd assume she still has some mouth parts
Edit: even looking at her jumpscare the arch is there like in the artwork, it just looks a little like her beak from the distance but not really
I don't think that's her beak its probably the endo's "lips"
Plus it goes well with the posters we've seen with the withered Rockstar Freddy matching him when he got disassembled by the staff bots in the vanny ending
I think it could be the rooftop ending because Freddy likes the place on fire and the pizza place collapses to the ground which could lead to the new DLC too which could explain why chica was melted in the picture
