I have been buying farm land in Thailand for self sufficiency. I have been planting trees and have a couple of large ponds to keep fish. Next is to buy a mid sized Kubota tractor and implements and a trailer.
I know geoengineering is a fringe topic but they spray the skies almost daily in Idaho USA and I wonder if they look into those tings and test soil for heavy metals and aluminum, strontium and barium etc. Thanks guys
Something to think about. Iowa corn production 60 percent goes to ethanol. 40 to feed...I would not fall into farm land..not grain farming...turnkey feed lots.
Do you have to be a certified investor to invest in Peak Prosperity? I absolutely loooooooove regenerative farming and I am dedicated to this practice.
Seems to me that I watched this video before 🤔. At least has Craig been a guest on the show before (when it was Peak Prosperity)? Regardless, it's a fascinating topic to me which just make me think of all these other questions about sustainable Ag economics. Thank You, Adam and Craig! Come back again!!
This all sounds good in the present economic conditions. But how will it fare when the economy turns down? I would think that when people are struggling economically they would be less likely to spend the premium for organic. If the demand for organic food falls then this whole strategy falls apart. So betting on this strategy is just another way to bet that the economy will stay strong. If anyone has a counter argument to this I would love to hear it.
very nice but the small investors are not allowed to invest….of course they can always get some shit shares of a public company when already the big sharks have extracted the alpha and the even the sustainability idea is washed away…😢
Yes, this guy is smart. Your average family farmer is a dumb hick that doesn't care about the health of his land, the health of his customers or the financial legacy of his family. I'm glad you watched a couple of anti-ag documentaries and now know more about food production than the people who have been producing food for several generations.
new zealand farms cheaper bigger BETTER. i bought a spectacular seaview pristine mountaintop farm of 300 acres for 285K [was a very cheap buy at the time] in northland [kaipara] new zealand 5 yrs ago, now worth 6-700K now. just bought another second farm of 300 acres for 750K [another bargain buy], and even before settling prices have doubled for farms in the specific area ive bought in [easy drive to auckland]. both could qualify for organic as well.
Yes, if we could just increase leverage and institutional ownership in such a crucial industry as farming, we could make so much money!!!! who gives a !$@* about the result of forcing the business cycle down on food producers. Why has no one thought about this before. feudal Europe is the ideal.
Farmland is at multi year highs and this guy is touting farmland just like a few days ago a guy was touting mining stocks although commodities are at multi year highs.Smooth operators.I’ve got a cheap bridge for anybody who buys into their stories.

@Swinebagger Hatevirus I would not live in a muslim country like Malaysia. I own enough in the UK.
@Digital Cash Cow You don't. Never buy land unless you intend to live near by.
1% institutionally owned? This number seems very low. Bill Gates, Ted Turner, Conagra? 1%? Really?
If you have an IRA can you use these funds for this type of investment?
good info wealthion, those sites required accredited investors

Great content !
Where that conference will be?
Online. On June 5th (though we'll send everyone a replay video afterwards). You can learn more about it here: wealthion.com/conference
Fascinating discussion!
Loving this channel
I'm actually a organic almond farmer in Portugal expanding quite fast. Doing 80 acres now... Organic is definitely the place to invest

That's where the point is... whatever may be the economy..there will always the need for food...
The weather can knock you out!
At first I thought that background was just a stock windows xp wallpaper and not an actual farm hahahahaha

Remarkably interesting!
Some ideas but really this information is not for buying land on their own.
A positive message; glad there are smart people working on sustainability. Also, looks like the Windows XP background.
