It all depends on the formula itself. For example, cactus gel can have added preservatives that are harsh on the skin. If you are allergic to Aloe Vera, you can simply use a hydrating mist with a Hyaluronic Acid Serum (great options on my site) 😊. As far as prickly pear oil, that won’t replace aloe because it is an oil and not to be confused with non-oil ingredients. You can absolutely use it though, but after the Hyaluronic Acid serum to ensure you are hydrating first before you moisturize with the oil. I hope this helps!
