Full support to the coach and coaching staff for the game they play (different from everyone in the league). We concede the first goal because of an individual mistake, but support because it's a process. The second goal we concede, I don't understand Sam Austin (he doesn't save space but follows the player, if that's a request ok if not then...) Also incredible reactions of Langstaff, what kind of striker we have. After a free kick we concede a goal again from our organization of the game (I hope it's a bad day), and without Cameron's correction. Amazing goal Jones. No block on their last goal. Full support to coach Luke, let's move on!
0:110:391:15 These three goals in particular are the types of goals we simply cannot afford to give away if we have any aspirations about promotion. The other two goals were great. But when we make it this easy for other teams to play against us, we’re always gonna need to score at least 3 or 4 goals to get 3 points. We can’t win 4-3 every week. On the bright side we do score some cracking goals. ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️
Worth noting that although top of the league on goal difference, we have now played home or away the bottom seven sides in the league. So modesty in any aspirations seems appropriate
Well it wasn't boring ! and going forward Notts are a dream. So many crosses coming into the box in the second half I lost count. The truth is that teams in this league are more unforgiving and their quality -even lowly Colchester were pretty good. Personally I think this is the best football I've seen Notts playing in a long while -(my sentence started in 1976 with a drab 0-0 draw against Forest just 29k in the stadium) -not necessarily this afternoon. If we want to keep this formation sometimes we will get hammered and gift goals are almost a by product of playing out from the back, keeper sweeper system. On the whole great entertainment and the Notts fans are superb, loud, supportive and friendly to the opposition, a number of which we were chatting happily to pre -game. Keep doing what you are doing Notts its worth every penny and the pints were cheap as well ! Bert
The keeper/sweeper thing was ok last season but that was against part time players/plumbers this league it’s full time players that know how to get the points. We have to wise up.
Cameron and Brindley played shocking! Cameron is too slow, he’s got a turn circle of a bus, if it wasn’t for his falling over all the time he would have been caught out even more 🙈 defensively we are poor, not good, even with the quality upfield we couldn’t get anything out this game 😡 annoying watching that
if it wasnt for slocombe last season we wouldnt be where we are now the two howlers he made against chesterfiel took away all his good performances from last season i cant believe we didnt buy archie mair as back up for slocombe this stone i m not sure of
I’m not sure on Slowcolm, it’s like replacing bad with bad when it comes to Slowcolm and Stones. Archie M played a few full games last season and didn’t play all that good, yea he played a blinder at the finals but he also had mistakes in him too. The defenders are becoming a liability I think.
Can't see what the keeper could do to stop four of them but he could certainly work on his distribution. It's early days for him yet though. I thought Kasper Schmeichel might return to show Ben Foster how to do it. But seriously, we do need someone with his skills for when our defenders make a mistake. Colchester's goals looked pretty awesome, but a few of them were definitely preventable.
@@adrianwoods3181 the first goal was a gift neither of our keepers command their areas, nobody seems to organise our defence at C.B. we play too far up,big gap between back three and keeper perhaps three at the back and a sweeper might be the answer ,someone who can spot danger and organise things
Last season we didn’t need a keeper, this season we do. Don’t think Stone is up to it. As for our defence, despite them scoring two excellent goals, 13 conceded against three teams in the bottom third. Enough said.
@@chrisiveson6838 the two keepers aren't up to our usual high standards and I can go back to 1959 and George Smith, we've not had a good one since roy Carroll

I fully expect to see Colchester challenging at the top come May. Tovide and Taylor look a real handful.
First thing I thought on replaying this back was the kits clash. At times I don't know who's who. 🤯
Exactly what I was about to say
@atkaschabecouce Colchester arnet away
@atkascha well notts should of Idc if they not blue don't start arguments with me I can't be bothered with it
This team is flying high.the real stuff. Not that Disney stuff in Wales
The kit clash was real, our keeper was a shambles, but Colchester looked decent. Entertaining game
Yes I thought that as soon as we kicked off 🙈
Tuesday's game is a must win if we want to have a fight for automatic promotion this year.

Yea I agree, I thought Jones goal was good 👍🏻
Not surprised for the first goal. I thought for Colchester first goal it was a notts player. Definite colour clash.

That first goal WTF😅
For some of the goals conceded we looked hungover, vacant and just let it happen?
Yea 🙈 they could have had 5 goals the first half

you maybe right Ruby lets see how we are after end of October we should know by then @@RubyWood-qu8kx
Scoring isn't an issue at least, but 2 gifted goals is, can't do a thing about the belters tho. You got your moneys worth 😅
Yea they scored a lovely goal!

not often a team scores 4 goals and still loses
Slocombe back please

Crumbs!
Might have a change of keeper Tuesday but then tother one ain't much better

How about having a go at the defensive work instead of having a jibe at the keeper
