Konnichiwa Ghib-san, thanks for taking us along on this latest walk-about tour. You’re able to show a native S’porean new stuff better than any tour guide. I’m basically an East Coaster so would go down to Tg Pagar only for specific reasons. Maybe on my next visit I’ll explore a little more like you👍😊
Thanks for this video. I'm S'porean, but I've not been to these places in the video. The mall you introduced looks a great place to visit. I ll find some time to visit.
For Japanese expats, you should definitely check out Meidi-Ya at Millenia Walk. Take the blue MRT line to promenade and come out, and Millenia walk is opposite Suntec City.
Japanese MNCs pay hardship allowance to Japanese expats working in Singapore. Isetan, Takashimaya and in the past Sogo have been here for years. Lately, there is Donki. I am always puzzled what kind of hardship they experienced here?
Is Singapore livable? It depends, if you are a expats make good money... Than SG is a good place to live. But some locals might feel that SG is too stressful, lack of work life balance, too expensive, too strict.... Etc.
Ojisan, where do you say in Spore is a mini japan like chinatown is to China peninsula is to Myanmar snd Serangoon is to.India, liang court used to be a little Japan back in 1980s, hpw do you say now in 2021,?
My favourite there is SABAR restaurant. Run by a nice Japanese chef 👨🍳 love their grilled King Sabar n their mala SABAR. Go try their mala Sabar hotpot since u like spicy food 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 their hamachi belly sashimi is fresh n gd. Aiya I shldnt b saying it here else next time hv to Q up. Shhhh...
Every country has its poor and for those old folks who still work, some by choice and some due to poor family support. However, if they really need help, there are many govt agencies and avenues they can get help if they want help. There is really no need for them to work if they don't want in their old age.
You dun be so surprise those oldies cleaning tables are having alot of saving...😁.may be some of them even more than us...lol..they just want to find manageable task to pass time..and earn extra...while they can still walk..and take it as an exercise too..and also keeping dementia at bay..
How can u expect to retire without any money at all? Even if u decide to mograte to other country to retire, you still need quite alot of cash before their government approves u to migrate over. Which country will welcome someone to leech off them?
no hay hever? I thought it was the opposite. I had sinus problem here all my life. When i moved to London for 1 year, it mysteriously stopped but came back immediately once i returned to sg.

As a Singaporean, I humbly welcome you to our tiny island. Great having you here.
I am half Japanese who is born in Singapore and this place is very peaceful and lovely foods to enjoy🤩🤩🇸🇬❤❤💕
Thanks for this video. I'm S'porean, but I've not been to these places in the video. The mall you introduced looks a great place to visit. I ll find some time to visit.
Here's another plus for Japanese to live in Singapore : both Singapore and Japan drive on the same side of the road:)
I love how the Japanese community in Singapore supports your videos 🤣
The variety of japanese food truly amazing 😋 thanks for recommending this place 👍
For Japanese expats, you should definitely check out Meidi-Ya at Millenia Walk. Take the blue MRT line to promenade and come out, and Millenia walk is opposite Suntec City.
I noticed there are alot of Japanese housewives buying muffins from the old school shop called Chocolat and spice at TP Plaza.
Hi Ojisan, I love the place u introduce to us, can help to put it on the address so we will easy to find out the location, thanks 🙏
Great to hear that from a Japanese on the street with honest view!!👍👏👏
SINGAPOREANS LOVE SINGAPORE AND AFFORDABLE LIVING FOR SINGAPOREANS.

Ghib san: "shoot, i hope this song doesn't have copyright". - Proceeded to sing the song together with store music.

There are Japanese groups in Singapore that clean up the beaches.

the only city in Southeast Asia with more Japanese than Singapore is Bangkok, Thailand
Ma maison! Have you tried their demi glace sauce omurice? 😋 😋 🤤 so goood~~

Obviously to the Japanese, everything in Singapore is less stressful, better work life balance, cheaper and less strict.
@@huaiwei Soon SG will become like Japan.... So stressful.

The Lost ojisan i am Jack Grab here i am staying at the tanjong pagar estate 45 years old history already
Imo, Japan society gel much better exactly because people are worried about what others think. We can learn alot from Japan and vice versa.

@qtsssim I live amongst them and know of many cases receiving some forms of help from different govt agencies depending on individual needs and cases.
Where is jimmy? Why didnt u bring him along?

Any place that don’t need money to retire? As we grow old proximity is immensely important....
How can u expect to retire without any money at all? Even if u decide to mograte to other country to retire, you still need quite alot of cash before their government approves u to migrate over. Which country will welcome someone to leech off them?
Business chicken at business district!
Singapore is an island country..please keep that in mind.😁😊
I think Japanese language should be official language in singapore. Also ive noticed alot of japanese street signs in singapore. 🇯🇵🇸🇬
As a Singaporean I know a little Japanese but not fluently 😅
But I would love to learn Japanese
no hay hever? I thought it was the opposite. I had sinus problem here all my life. When i moved to London for 1 year, it mysteriously stopped but came back immediately once i returned to sg.
LOL
