    if you're running the line out of the deck, yes it kills everything, but not if you're running phono

      Thank you! You can't go wrong with either one, but the 8000 has all those advanced features. I don't really need them personally since most of my controls are on the mixer... Thanks again.

    What’s up Kareem, I’m looking a second vinyl deck. I’ve got a audio technica lp140 right now but it has too much flutter and so I’m planning on getting the Mixars sta cause it really matches the all black of my audio technica and I want my decks to look pretty much the same. In your opinion is it a lot worse than the Stanton 150/ rp7000 or am I still gonna like it? Thanks for the reviews bro

    • @RealDJblaze
      @RealDJblaze  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're welcome! They are pretty much the same turntables, so you will be fine with that setup.

  • @ghostrider_2104
    @ghostrider_2104 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey Blaze, what is the weight of the counterweight? The SL1200 is 99 grams.....the reason I ask is I bought a set of the new Stanton ST 150 M2's and I couldn't set my tone arm tracking force because the supplied counter weight that comes with the new Stantons are only 94 grams, which means it won't properly "float" your tone arm parallel with the platter and thus you can't set the tracking force properly. It's just one of the many issues the new Stanton M2's have.

      I don't have it any more to check...

    When you tested it, how was sound dampening? Did you tap it?

  • @iknNR
    @iknNR 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    hello! which one has better build quality? STR8-150, or this LTA? I know, that STR8-150 is quite robust, but beside that, can you feel any difference? Cant help myself, but ttx usb has got excelent build quality (lot of rubber you don't have that plastic, cheap feeling)... what u think?

    • @RealDJblaze
      @RealDJblaze  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The STR8-150 is still the best construction for a turntable besides the 1200's... They have best dampening and the best isolation since they have the rubber coated base. They are also much heavier than all the others. Other than that they are all built well and have the same strong motors and tonearms. The LTA does feel cheaper overall...

    Are these good for scratching and beat juggling? I have the AT-LP120 but for some reason I can not get the tonearm balanced right. Always winds up skipping unlike my 1200's .

    Do these turntable come in different colors cause when you DJing in a dark environment it's going to be hard to see that turntable even with the lights on it so does it come in silver or gold other than black just another option for the consumer

    Question, if you turn the brake all the way down and hit the stop button, does the sound cut out immediately or will you the power down sound, like you would with a technic turntable?

    • @RealDJblaze
      @RealDJblaze  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Start/Stop button does not turn the turntable on or off so sound will always come out of it when you press the stop button. You could adjust the brake every time you want to do a motor-off effect vs. when you want it to slow down quickly but that would get old really quick for me. I would change it back and forth a lot during a gig and I'm sure I would forget to re-adjust the brake speed one time or another...

    • @DjAltamit
      @DjAltamit 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I see your point. so what turntable provides all the functionality that you see lacking in the OEM turntable s?

      If you like a classic look then the Reloop RP 7000 in silver is a good option. If you like a more sleek all black everything look with blue LED's then the LTA is your choice. It really comes down to your preference.
